The most controversial moment in Guts is when Jimmy made up a fake bowl game so he could win.
yea 100% lol. Jimmy's pettiness in this game is amazing. from making up extra "crag brag" bowl games to offering the worst trades of all time and then getting mad when people point out there dog trash :D

To be honest Jake the Snake got Joez/Zack bad with the trade earlier in the season for the dead ringer of a 1st place
Joez being mad at Mo is like classic, third-act RomCom stuff. Then we have a montage of them missing each other before he climbs the Crag to get her back.
Where he’ll find Mo and that one course guy, who they always think is helping too much.

You know what, last episode Joez was a little too horny for Mo so I think this added tension was a good touch by the scriptwriters

The fact that they had the nerve to put an 11 year old girl with 13 and 14 year old boys is wild.
And with two bungie events requiring size to be effective.
Wrangling those tubes and swimming is also easier with height. She won the obstacle course, though.
They should at LEAST have had different strength bungees based on the kid's weight. Nikki could barely reach the ground with that thing! Not that anybody was going to beat Red on the ball wall, but still she could have competed for second if she wasn't dangling like Peter Pan.

Yeah, I re-watched that one a few times, and agree. Maybe his foot was over the start line. It's the only thing that makes sense to me, if it was a legit call.

I feel like this is the only episode of Guts where the weird scoring system actually did what the showrunners intended.

My biggest regret is finding out about this channel a year ago. I have to wait ever so (im)patiently for the episodes to drop instead of having a backlog of 100 episodes to binge through, which I did with Baggage and GeoGodGuys all too quickly. And Watchin Guts is so exciting with the new format

Before watching the video: the only way JoeZach can still be in this is if they get two 1st place finishes and Jimmy and Jake both get a 2nd and 3rd place finish each in the next two episodes. If that happens, all of the guys will be tied with 16 points and the Crag Brag would serve as the championship.
Jimmy is really leaning into the troll role this season.
I feel like you guys should get the Spill Your Guts information during the draft. Have an intern get the screenshots from the episode before you film it and it will give you more information during the draft.

Nah I like the more crap shooty of the draft now, If someone is a all pro athlete they'd always get picked first, it's better not knowing. Judging by just seeing the Kid & knowing their name makes the game harder & doesn't make the first pick a lock.

After watching this episode, JoeZach needs to get 1st place and have Jake finish 2nd and Jimmy finish 3rd to achieve a 3-way tie and stay in the race. If that happens and the Crag Brag serves as the championship, what would be the drafting order? The key to the paint shoe print game is just putting the tips of both shoes on the wall that way you don't lose inches to the bottom of your foot or a dreaded foot drag.
They track the baseball game by counting the remaining balls on the wall. Because that all starts with the same amount of balls.
Red going straight knees in paint on the jump event twice and then getting 12 feet is a great turnaround

I'm pretty sure the first false start was due to David being over the starting line before the whistle. It's just hard to tell with the close up shot. The same thing happened with another contestant earlier as well.
I know that the Watchin' series kinda turned in just Guts, but it would be nice to see you guys dip back into other game shows from time to time as well. Especially with the twice a week uploads. Would be nice to see you guys tackle Supermarket Sweep again. Randy and Tammie, the matching shirts couple reappears in one the show's Sweep of Champions episodes. That could be a fun one to watch along with.
For season 3, maybe try +1 point for each crag win, so you get 5 points for an episode win with a crag win

Yeah, there definitely was some controversy since David wasn't warned about his False Starts. Afterwards, they started warning contestants if they made a False Start and there never was another disqualification for two False Starts.
BTW, the DQ didn't have an effect on the final standings. David still would have gotten Gold, Daniel Silver, and Nikki Bronze.

Been wondering about this since the new scoring system was enacted this season: there is a serious chance at a tie at the end of 8 weeks. Not sure if that has to do with the numbers all being offset by 2 or maybe with it being 8 weeks. Funny enough, if Joez/Zack want to tie for first, they would need to come in first and for Jimmy to come in last - meaning Jake takes second and everyone ties. Curious to see what the solution would be if that happened lol.
(I also don't know how the scoring system could be altered to prevent an end-of-season tie because I suck at math)

If there's anything I learned from watching Jimmy play everything from old school Family Feud video games to Playing Guts is do the exact opposite of anything Jimmy suggests 😂 He's always got an ulterior motive.

There should be some form of incentive for first place at season end; punishment for last place. Would make it more intense for wins/trades
