I can't be satisfied until I've completely memorised the lyrics of all of Nate's songs. Is anyone else the same?
Yeah, I've been listening non-stop to the album (without lyrics mind you) and the reason I'm watching these YT videos again is so that I can read the lyrics through again. Paid in Exposure, Sleight of Hand and The Wrecked and the Worried are the ones I'm having trouble with understanding what Nate says sometimes.

now that I have listened to the whole album I can say with confidence that not only do I like it but it is good on a very technical level as in how the music not only sounds good but is mixed very well so that nothing overpowers anything else especially your vocals which come across very clean and smooth great job man can't wait to play these songs on multiple devices

**Update: Thanks for the likes! Also, on an Instagram livestream, Nate said that Branded was the test to see if songs like Wrecked & Worried and Paid in Exposure would do well with his audiences. He wrote most of the songs on PIE and Branded at the same time which is why PIE is so Branded-themed!**

The wrecked and the worried is basically Branded 2. From what I’ve found it’s the same chords as branded but transposed to Bbm (I could be wrong on this, music theory is hard :/). It also repeats the “special kind of hell” line and during the chorus it has a similar scream to the one found in branded.

They're the most dynamic ones of sandcastle kingdoms, and Paid in exposure as a whole just bleeds dynamic. There's no standard metal rock sounding songs. the closest is Sleight of hand, and even then it's got a lot of uniqueness.
I was also thinking that Call it off had to get it's more calm nature somewhere, so that's where Perfect by design came into account more than before.
trying to pinpoint song anatomy is weird and leads way to discussion, but it's ultimately a useless endeavor.
Nate you never cease to amaze me I love your sound so much. Your music is honestly the best out there and there needs to be more of it with all the repetitive crap out there. Artists can learn a lot from you and not only are you a great artist you are a great person. I was having a really hard time around the time you played your live show in Portland and your message about depression and not giving up really helped. That was exactly what I needed to hear then and it helped push me to fight harder to better my life. thank you so much I really do love the music.

This is my second time around listening to the album and I’ve gotta say it’s really something. There are some songs I love instantly, and then there’s others like this that I really had to pay attention to to enjoy it.
They’re all great in their own ways, is what I mean.
I gotta say, one of my favorite things about your music is all the little references to your older songs! It really shows how you're moving forward, but not abandoning your old work! Keep up the amazing work!
Everything about this song is great! From the amazing vocals, to the addition of the brass instruments, as well as that sweet double time on drums at the end. A wonderful masterpiece!
