SB One and Reverse Components make chain tensioners for long travel dual sussers. An M6 or m8 grub screw tapped into the bb shell can give adjustable bb spindle drag.
I’ve been running a similar set up on a a clash for 4 years now, mainly riding slopestyle jumps and freeride lines, been to Utah, rode fest series and french bikeparks. It’s the best set up for fun. But i can feel the need for another more able bike to just chill and pédalo around. If you hésitante just go for it you won’t regret it!!
Yep for sure, the slopeduro is not the move as your only bike in my opinion. Thankfully, I have this SB165 built up as well as a few other bikes to keep things fresh 🤙🏼
Thanks for the video! I have a additional question - it is clear why to use crank stopper, but I wonder - what about unwanted pedal spin? Isnt that issue too? Do you have something installed to slow the pedal spin or are they normally attached? Thanks
My pedals are just attached normally, as pedal spin hasn’t been too big of an issue for me. That said, Tyler McCaul has a cool magnet setup for his pedals that is a neat solution to that problem 🤟🏼

Frame is carbon so the tapped frame isn't applicable here, but on alloy frames that is a clean way to go about it 🤙🏼
That's it! A Freeride Slopeduro Contest! Wooooooo Hooooooooo!
🤘🏼

Looks really cool, heavily considering sb165 as a dirt jumper/park bike
Love to hear it! Thanks for watching the video 🤟🏼
gonna do that to my old yt capra
Heck yeah 🤟🏼
“Roadies hate this one simple trick”
the trick: adding friction to the cranks
😂
When do we get to hear about the canyon in the corner?
Those are my roommates bikes 🤟🏼 Sick rigs for sure 👍🏼
@@PeterJamison Just a quick question, would your roommate happen to be Sam Soriano?
@jeehoonjones1389 yep 👍🏼

Does the crankstoper squeak at all
My crank stopper doesn’t squeak 🤙🏻 thanks for watching 👊🏼
I'm surprised you didn't do 26" on the rear and increase the rear shock.
I have considered trying a 26 rear, maybe on a future bike build! 🤘🏼
yo bro how many psi do you have in the suspension?😁
I have 74 psi in the fork with 3 volume spacers, and 200 psi in the shock with the 1.0 volume spacer 🤙🏼
@@PeterJamisonthx bro👊🏼
🙏🏼
@@PeterJamisonthat seems quite soft
Works mint for me at 170lbs hitting very sizeable jumps and drops 🤟🏼 that said, I do run a softer (and faster) setup than most freeriders
