I just finished watching the movie, and I am still in tears. What a beautiful story. Everyone involved making this movie should be proud. And the real people, oh my gosh, what an American dream. I just loved this movie, I hope it wins tons of awards.
Hey man , they have to start putting emotional warnings signs before the movie, I had to stop paused the movie several times before I do tears 😢 smh ,I wasn't ready lol 😆
@@pamgrimm8850 unfortuanly this is not a holliwood movie , thats the reason it wasnt played on theaters ,it a MEXICAN MOVIE MADE 100 % in mexico, the producer,, even had to recreate NASA INSTALATIONS over there yo make the film, so probably wont get any NOMINATIONS
Reminds me of my family in Santa Maria. Couldn’t be more proud of them, a lot of their kids started becoming marines after my uncle was drafted while going to USC. He didn’t get a deferment, he could have, but he fought. Then joined the Marines after for more tours and became a warden of a Federal prison after 20 years in the Corps. His daughter(my cousin) followed his footsteps and is now an assistant warden of a Federal prison. I love that I share the same last name with Astronaut Hernandez as well. Viva Raza.
Nonsense, Michael Pena is 48 and the one who plays his dad is 53. 30 years goes by but both of his parents still look the same, never gets old even one bit.. that's Hollywood logic.
Exactly!!! This guy is missing the message and the lesson, and focusing on the cosmetic, non-important aspect of the entire film's meaning & message. Please, focus your energy on the themes of this very true story and how it's told. Remote, cosmetic issues are so trivial at the end of the day!! ❤🎉❤🎉 This storytelling is an inspiration!!!
If anything else, it should speak volumes that there's not enough "Brown", "Latino", "Spanish speaking" actors out there, so many projects use the same actors available to them.... that's the biggest issue here. Really diversified "Hollywood" where you can actually have tons of talent audition, versus the same handful of type-cast actors who are wonderful!!! But they cannot seem to catch a break outside of this "Soap box". Rant is done, lol.... 😂😊🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🙄🙄🙄💯💯💯💯🙏🏻🙏🏻😕😕

I just finished watching this movie. Excellent! It is well directed. Michael Peña should be nominated for an Oscar. Jmo
Agreed!!🤘🏾
José Cielo Hernández, the first migrant farmworker to travel to space, is an inspiration to us.
To everyone, I might add. Everyone should watch this. This man, his family, his teacher...such amazing people🙏🏾✌🏾
A stain on American history
the dad's work ethic I will apply to my life

Why put that much thought into that particular part? Lol.
Some people look at the thorns on roses, while others look at the roses on thorns.
Really? That is your focus? That is pretty weak for such a great movie.
