Devin Haney vs. Vasiliy Lomachenko, billed as Checkmate, was a professional boxing match contested in the lightweight division between the undisputed champion, Devin Haney, and former three-division world champion, Vasiliy Lomachenko. The bout took place on 20 May 2023 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight ended in a controversial unanimous decision win for Haney.

I forget which round but When Algieri wanted to see the punch stats expecting Loma to be ahead on the punch stats but the stats showed Haney ahead, Algieri completely stopped talking about what he thought the stats would show which is a Loma advantage. Then Algieri says this is a close fight to score and it can come down to the 11th and 12th round. After showing how biased they were to say that showed how close the fight was. These Loma fans are suffering from the same thing they’re claiming victimized Loma.
