Picked it up last night with the Spring sale for 25AUD (5 of that was from Game Pass points). Did an hour in Sth East England around sunrise. Took of from an asphalt field (can't remember the name) then flew up the coast to Dover. Landed on the water, and the brilliant thing with this, is you can water taxi towards the beach, lower the wheels then taxi out! I shut down on the beach, then restarted taxiied into the water and took off and stayed below the white cliffs before landing at the closest grass airfield. Its a great little plane. Cool review too, definitely true, though I actually think the details and textures are pretty good. I actually watched it last week or so after I watched your P38 one.
I have over a 100 planes in my hanger and I find myself flying this plane all the time and absolutely love its flight characteristics! So what that its textures aren't the best, it more than makes up for it with its flight characteristics.
@@thesn00tyfox No! Night and day! The Grumman Goose by Big Radials is one of my 5 favorite aircraft out of over 150 that I have. It is a 100 times better than the Widgeon! No comparison!!!
@@thesn00tyfox Yes I have every plane offered on the series X. My top 5 are definitely the Kodiak 100, The grooman goose by big radials, The P38 lightning, black Box islander, and any Carenado plane! Especially the Skymaster and Seneca! Honorable mentions...Spitfire, F-14 Tomcat, DC designs f-16, and GeeBee R3.

I feel it's a very underrated aircraft in the sim, it's a wonderful aircraft to fly and very versatile. Thanks for the very nice video!

I have the G-44a and so far have only 36 engine hours, but how do you get that PBY-5 Catalina on Xbox? I can’t find it in the store.
That Catalina is actually part of the shell harbour airport it’s actually not available on Microsoft flight simulator at this point in time
