That is a nicely furbished hotel. The physical shape of your room looks like our room at hotel Orsay. I would go to Marmottan museum rather than D’Orsay though. Totally agree on getting a guide for Versailles. Our tour also included Monet’s house.

That looked like the relaxing way to see Paree,a once in a lifetime treat. It looked lovely. I love the challenge of independent travel but sonetimes its nice to leave all the work to somebody else. I see the crowds in the Palace of Versailles are back to the nightmare level of 2017 when my sister booked us a trip there. We only had time to see the house or the gardens and we regretted picking the wrong one. Like my sister said,"its just a load of old furniture" ! It was that trip,in a coach,a glass bubble through Paris that made me want to come back,be on those streets and feel,touch and smell that city,to really BE THERE.

I should be embarrassed to say that we’ve never visited the Louvre as crowded spaces and losing an entire day being indoors just isn’t our choice. So your sharing videos like this gives us a glimpse into some places we would not otherwise visit in person. I took our two girls to Disneyland Paris, of course, but they obliged me (lol). I still want to visit Versailles but my husband isn’t ready. I would certainly consider a private tour as learning history and unknown nuggets are worth every cent. I mean euro. That looked like the relaxing way to see Paree,a once in a lifetime treat. It looked lovely. I love the challenge of independent travel but sonetimes its nice to leave all the work to somebody else. I see the crowds in the Palace of Versailles are back to the nightmare level of 2017 when my sister booked us a trip there. We only had time to see the house or the gardens and we regretted picking the wrong one. Like my sister said,"its just a load of old furniture" !
It was that trip,in a coach,a glass bubble through Paris that made me want to come back,be on those streets and feel,touch and smell that city,to really BE THERE.
@@LesFrenchiesTravel I went to the castle Vincennes last time. By accident. I got the bus intending to go to the Parc Floral. And there was this amazing Castle!

I bought your cheese boards and then set out to find the many types of cheese you sampled and described so well. Charcuterie is a simple yet elegant way to spend a night with family and friends. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and offering so many important tips for travel. We have been to France many times, and our next trip will be more special because of your advice.
Congratulations, you two! What milestone(s) and celebration together! We are 4 weeks from our 9th visit to Paris. I should be embarrassed to say that we’ve never visited the Louvre as crowded spaces and losing an entire day being indoors just isn’t our choice. So your sharing videos like this gives us a glimpse into some places we would not otherwise visit in person. I took our two girls to Disneyland Paris, of course, but they obliged me (lol). I still want to visit Versailles but my husband isn’t ready. I would certainly consider a private tour as learning history and unknown nuggets are worth every cent. I mean euro. Thank you always for your time and investment sharing with us your love for Paris.
