Not only did they win, they are still going strong with those harmonies. There is something magical that happens when they perform together. They can have you laughing one minute with their charm, and crying the next with their music. I can’t explain it. Just regular boys next door that reach all the age groups. The only concerts I’ve ever gone to that include audiences from ages 3 to 100, that don’t include Disney characters. USA fan here. Love them. ❤️
I love how completely shell shocked everyone was, haha. You get a self-proclaimed boy band who belts out Les Miserables, one of my favorite things ever. I keep this on my playlist to this day.
Hi Travis, they were all music theater “nerds” like Scott, Mitch and Kirstie, but this audition did it for them! Absolutely love Collabro, thank you for sharing your reaction ❤️
Four of these boys are still together eight years later after winning BGT in 2014. They are better than ever and the they have been a four piece group for the last 6 years and have fans all over the world! I love Collabro!
Looking forward to this one, I love Collabro if you want to hear more of them “Anthem” from their first album is very good and “Lighthouse” from their third album (Home) is touching and one of their only originals. Richard Hadfield, the one who sings first left the band just after their first album, he wanted to sing Jazz and Blues and does that now as a solo artist, the rest of the group is till together as a quartet.
Also, BGT 2012 Jonathan and Charlotte's First audition. BGT has posted this video several times, all have views in the Millions. The UK version alone of their First Audition has over 142 Million views. When Jonathan stepped on stage, Simon said "Just when you think things couldn't get any worse" Jonathan Antoine's more recent music videos of "Amazing Grace/Grazia" and "These Are the Special Times/Momenti Splendidi" (A Best Music Video Award winner) are Both Beautiful to Watch and Listen to. Io Si/Seen" is per Grammy award winning composer Diane Warren's request! BEAUTIFUL!!! It debuted at #1 on itunes Classical Chart. "Nessun Dorma-Home Performance" was filmed at 2:00 a.m. after a Global chat with Fans. One of many Gifts during Lock Down.
So happy you have reacted to Collabro, they are one of my favourites. Still together but one has left now. Would love for you to react to more of there performances
Aren't they wonderful?!! I immediately fell in love with their sound when I heard them. So good...and after being together for ONLY one month...natural chemistry, indeed!! Know what I absolutely loved? At the very end of the clip they start playing Susan Boyle, "I Dreamed a Dream"...it's that wonderful, jaw-dropping, "Susan Boyle moment" that Howie Mandel spoke of in one of his critiques. We keep getting Susan Boyle moments, and I'll take as many as they want to give me! Thanks Travis!
So good to see your reaction. Yes these lovely boys did win .and they are still going strong 8 years later. Matt,Michael, Jamie and Tom have fantastic voices and are genuine boys with hearts of gold . They have produced fantastic albums and amazing sell out tours . I love the brilliant collabro boys .xxxx❤❤❤❤
4 out of the 5 are still together (Richard, the first soloist, left after about a year. ) They've put out several albums, primarily songs from musical theater, such as the one here, from Les Miserables. And yes, they won the season.
This was the same UA-cam video when I first discovered them…I was mesmerized! I have been a diehard fan since. Some people comment that they are not the same with just the 4 - I agree, they are so much better! I traveled a few times across the pond to see them on their UK Tours. I highly suggest that you see them on their upcoming Christmas tour this December. You will enjoy them more live in concert.
I've been watching you react to Dimash and was so glad to find that you have now reacted to Collabro as well. I live in the US, too, but I discovered their audition on youtube the same year that they performed it. Their most viewed clip of this audition now has 50 million views!
Been following them from that first show, I also love Il Volo, three Italian young men who started off in 2009 as 14/15 year old, singing separately but were put together at the end of a competition as a trio. Still going strong, even when they are singing in Italian it doesn't matter because they have such beautiful voices. And of course I love my Home Free boys x
I’m in the US and lucky for me a friend shared their video just a day or two after the audition. I’ve been stuck like glue every for 8 years. Very lucky to see them twice; Americans flock to GB to see them on their tour. We really are a family.
They won BGT and are still going strong at the 8 year mark. They have released 6 albums and their first album "Stars " went to #1 in the charts. Check out their You Tube Channel. BTW their fans are called "collaborators"..
These young men were absolutely fabulous I saw them the first time they came out. They have gone on to make many songs. One of the gentleman did drop out. They're incredible
Yes, they won. Yes, they are still together (Although one of the five dropped out). Yes, they are still selling records. Yes, they are still performing.
I saw them in a concert with an opera singer here called Katherine Jenkins. They had separate slots but did a few numbers together and those were absolutley magical
Hello dear! First time I've ever seen your reactions and it's lovely that the way I find you is through our lads Collabro! So yes Collabro won their series and they are still together ❤ WELL I say still together, Richard (the one who started the singing) sadly left a couple of years after BUT yes still together as a four piece and they're like "labelled" as a Musical Theatre Boyband but have released original songs as well ❤ Can confirm Jamie is indeed tall (have met Collabro a few times) but absolutely lovely and they are still touring and can't recommend them enough ❤
2014 BGT, series 8- was the first year of The Golden Buzzer. Simon chose Bars and Melody as his Golden Buzzer, and arranged for them to guest on Ellen in USA, during the competition. Collabro actually had the highest vote margin in BGT history for semi finals. I think they received around 2/3 of all votes cast.
Yes, still going strong eight years later, although Richard (first singer) left the group six years ago. They've put out six albums, had sell-out tours in Britain, U.S., Canada, and Japan (where they had a number 1 hit - sung in Japanese!) and have a devoted fan base. Collabro stands for "collaboration of brothers", by the way. Still singing mostly musical theater, but some pop songs also. I just love them!
I just discovered them about 3 months ago and was blown away also. They did Win the 2014 seaso season and are going strong with 4 of the original boys. They are fabulous and have gotten even better.
This audition was from Britain's Got Talent 2014, which was its eight series. Collabro did end up winning that year and called it a day at the end of last year after nearly nine years as a group. And this was from back when Britain's Got Talent lived up to its name. These days, it's mostly acts getting the golden buzzer because their mum's sister's neighbour's dog's cat's mother's hamster's brother's gerbil's girlfriend's sister died three months ago and they're still really upset about it and many of the auditionees aren't even British or Irish - not even by residence! I can understand a Polish person who now lives in Manchester, a South African who now lives in Cardiff or somebody who's flown in from one of our BOTs (British Overseas Territories) auditioning - at least they now live in this country or are from one of our BOTs - but people coming here from abroad just to audition for the programme defeats the point of BRITAIN's Got Talent! They might as well rename it "Britain's Got People Who Fly In From Around the World to Showcase Their Talent"!
Hello 👋 Another awesome video, 👍👍 Love these guys, separately their voices are awesome, but together they are phenomenal, their voices blend so beautifully, 👍👍 Have a safe and wonderful day, 👋😀👋
Please react to BGT 2012 First audition of Jonathan and Charlotte. BGT has posted this video several times, all with views in the Millions. The UK version of their First audition alone has over 144 Million views. A few months before this audition, Jonathan had been bullied so badly he quit school and was suicidal. When Jonathan Antoine stepped on stage Simon said "Just when you think things couldn't get any worse" . Two years later Placido Domingo requested Jonathan to be his Special Guest on itunes Global Festival. In 2019 Toronto, he had Sold Out concerts which were filmed for American PBS TV. Many of the videos are on You tube. They have tons of songs. Never Enough..Who Wants To Live Forever...too many to mention and they are all amazing...they do "A Tribute To The Jersey Boys" that will blow you away
They are brilliant! Four of them are still together and superstars in Britain. They've occasionally played on the East Coast but I really wish they'd tour the West Coast (California in particular)!
Their vocals are fantastic. When doing interviews, especially at radio stations, they will sing a cappella and are always right on the note. They won BGT in 2014 when 2 were still in their teens and the other 3 in their early twenties. Yes Jamie is tall. He is 6' 3" (Home Free kind of height). Tom is 5'9" and the others 5' 10ish.
The one who started singing this song left the group but the other four are still recording albums and doing concerts in the UK, USA and Japan etc. They did win and you should watch their other song which they did for BGT which is 'Bring Him Home'. They sing songs from musicals and some pop songs and will be touring with their christmas album in December. Have been a few times to see them and they are great. They did a 'Frankie Valli' set at the end of one of their concerts which was fantastic.
Thank you. Your reactions were much like mine, it just took me longer to realize that Tom didn't solo in this one (he has an incredible voice, too) or that I was seeing an old video and there were more. I almost stopped watching when Matt said "boy band"). I now dream of the day I can hear them live.
They did win first place! Their lives have been a whirlwind since. Their first album debuted at #1 on the billboard charts. They have traveled the world, including to Japan where they have a huge fan base. Being intelligent young men, with families that they love they have decided to stop touring to have more time with loved ones and to take the next steps in their lives. They are on their farewell tour now.
I freakin LOVE Collabro. I watched them since day 1, this audition, and have seem them live twice. The first one to sing, Richard, is my favourite. Most of what they sing is musical theatre, with some pop thrown in. You should watch their semi-final for this competition, Britain's Got Talent. They sang Bring Him Home, also from Les Mis.
Simon's look says, "Ka-ching, ka-ching"! The boys took off after this audition. A great group. And, yes...they won the season! Since then, Richard (guy on the left end,) has left the group, but they've continued with just four. They're still doing well.
One of the greatest audition from years of Britains Got Talent, and they sing "Stars" my favorite song from my favourite musical "Les Misserables", they did it great, and they play for some time musicales covers idk if they still are, but they had their moment. There wasnt golden buzzers back than. The shows evolve since than. You propably have seen Susan Boyle, czn gave you mor unexpected auditions.
I downloaded their album as soon as it dropped. Love every song on their first album. Richard Hadfield (the very first singer in this video) left the group, but I believe the other four still perform together. Their 2nd audition song "Bring Him Home" is also chills inducing and you must react :)
They won BGT in 2014. As of two years ago, they were still together, but as a 4 piece. I know they were together bcos they were on BGT Talent Recap 2 years ago.
The golden buzzer had not yet been introduced then. They went onto win their year. Check out their reprise of the same song with a different arrangement in the final as well as 'Bring Him Home' in the semi-finals. Sadly, Richard (the guy on the left) left just after their return to the show in the final the following year and they're now a four-piece. They've had success around the world, including in the US. They're music is classical/musicals/crossover. Other "You wouldn't expect that!" auditions include Richard & Adam (brothers, third-placed in 2013) and Jai McDowall (winner in 2011).
There are actually another thing out there that you probably havent seen, the group is called zurcaroh. Or something like that,. I think that you will be amazed
Ricard is not with the group now. He did a wonderful job but they sound just as wonderful now. Their harmony is beautiful. It's wonderful to see them back. I didn't know what happened to them until now. Thank you. Keep up the wonderful work and make beautiful music together.
hello Travis check out Jonathon Antone he was on BGT aged 17 then check him out now he is 27 singing parla piu piano from the god father to see how far he has come you will blown away,

How can anyone not love Les Mis!!
I've watched this so many times, and get goosebumps every time!!! Good reaction. :)
Hi Travis, they were all music theater “nerds” like Scott, Mitch and Kirstie, but this audition did it for them! Absolutely love Collabro, thank you for sharing your reaction ❤️
They win this seson, I think ,last godbye tour was last year, but music will stay forever!!!!

Totally agree. I love ANTHEM.
1 month together and not only are their harmonies literally perfect but their stage presence together is so good
SO glad I got to watch you react to Collabro, one of my fav groups. They're still going strong and have got so much more polished over the years now.
I was so excited to see you react to them. Yes they did win!!
Probably my favorite audition ever! Thanks Travis!
Oh I'm so glad you discovered them!! Its a great road to travel down with this group. Please continue with them!!

Goosebumps. Every time I hear this audition 🎉
I’m glad you finally found them. Keep checking out their music. I’m in the USA and have been to England to see them tour. Outrageous.
We all love collabro as quartet now matured beautifully and down to earth really gorgeous guys ..
