Recorded at The Sage in Gateshead on 22nd July 2017 this is from the Stax Music Academy show where they were supporting William Bell. The young lady on lead vocal here is Zalissa Stewart, she is 16 years old. Gee Whiz was written and recorded by Carla Thomas. What a performance, GEE WHIZ indeed.

Saw their show at the Stables, Milton Keynes.. Never forgot this girl. I spoke with her mum. What a talent. I grew up with Stax as a London boy and had the good fortune to see many of the Stax stars live. Otis, Carla. Sam & Dave, Booker T and the MG's, the Markets, Arthur Conley at Billy Walker's Uppercut Club in the East End. Zalissa would have knocked us dead. I hope one day she will record Etta's At Last
