Flo thanks for sharing with us. I visited Cuba in 1976 to represent Jamaica in the 18th Caribbean Table Tennis Competition and was beaten in the semifinals by Rawl Betancourt who won the Gold for the Boys under 17 champion. Internationally, it was a politically charged era but we totally enjoyed our stay in a hotel in Havana. As a young man it was an unforgettable experience. We love our Cuban brothers and sisters. Wishing you the very best for you have given us a slice of real life in our sister island. Bless you.😊

Many countries are headed to this loss of freedom if certain extreme left leaning Marxists are allowed to rule. My aunt had to run from Cuba during the revolution. The situation traumatized my family for generations. She hid her wedding ring under her tongue. You think it is bad now try living under a socialist, communist government. Jamaicans work hard and try to appreciate what you have. You have a treasure on earth. Cut down on the complaining, help your brother and sister and praise God! Not everyone who says they are fighting for your rights is truly doing that. The people of Cuba are restricted while the Castros lived in a palace. Why didnt they live among the people if all should be equal? Communism and socialism are scams to tear your rights away and a vehicle to set up dictatorships. Thank you @Florkubana for sharing.

Our population is just below three million. Take away the elderly, children and the disabled and Please tell me how much revenues you think that Jamaica and the rest of developing countries can really make to live and care for their people.we do not have the equipments most of the time that is required to build like the first world countries. That is why we have to accepted help to build the kind of country that you all want like America ,Canada and the list goes on. One more they didn't achieve their wealth in sixty years. Think on these things before you all make naive comments. History of those countries is on UA-cam and Google spent a little time then you will learn how corrupted those countries were while they were building their country .we are forced to develop to their standards and we are doing it without free labour or labor or stolen properties. We should be commended instead of being criticized by our own people. Thank God my mother is living a much better life than her grandparents and her mother had while they were alive and living in Jamaica.I am quite sure that she is not the only one who will attest to that. 🤔🤔🤔🇯🇲

Thanks so much for sharing this statistics I was not comparing Jamaica to anywhere else and the reason why I said what I said it was based on my experience on the DMs I have received after expressing myself on social media, statistics will say something but in reality, the reaction of the people in the place where you are is different. To give you an example I made a video talking about the fact that a child in Jamaica had died because of the lack of ventilator at the hospital and I receive so many DM‘s threatening me that I fear for my life although I was not even in Jamaica at the time And this was coming mainly f from a particular political party , but I did not compare Jamaica to the United States

We Jamaicans who grew up in Jamaica almost had to go that route as the PNP government was hell bent in making jamaica another Cuba. The PNP wanted to make Jamaica one parry state with Marxist lennist as it's manifesto. We have people like Trevor Munroe who today is hiding his true color and was part of this process to make Jamaica a communist state. When I was in high school my Spanish teacher was a Cuban who came to jamaica and became a citizen after the 1959 revolution and it was the best decision that he had ever made.
