Asamoah Gyan was destined to play football as a profession, his passion for the game was right from childhood, he showed a level of passion not normally shown by kids his age, at a tender age of about 14yrs he would leave his nice home at New Gbawe to go and stay in the house of our coach ( bro Godwin of UK babies), sometimes even help him with house chores all because of the luv of football, sometimes he cried and became sad the whole day just because a scheduled match had been cancelled. I was therefore not surprised when I saw him become a great footballer.
