@@alphabogeyman7462 it depends on the amount of defamation. Again, a strong allegation as farombi made is more than a defamation. IF YOU ARE INVITED BY THE POLICE TO SUBSTANTIATE YOUR CLAIM BUT REFUSE, YOU CAN BE ARRESTED. Get that in. Till we listen to the story from the police also, then we know what happens. This guy is in no way close to gani fawehinmi as an activist. Farombi is a politician, not an activist, and he has never at anytime deny his political interest. Going heywire to start calling people like Afe babalola who has never held any political office nor been a judge ( he served as attorney through his carrier except at the world court), requires him to promptly respond to police invitation. He is only battling with a case with Tony Elumelu by the way.

It’s not arrest but abduction. Please take note
Whatever the adjectives you chose is your headache. As far as I know he is locked up for good reasons

In a sane country, court handles it. Not police
There is no where in the world where defamtion leads to arrest. Even if you sue someone for defamation, the penalty is a financial award of damages.
