Pathfinder 1E the Power of Material Components

One use of alchemical power components that i used in my campaign was silver to increase my illusion dc. For this, i would show this with my wizard pulling out 10 silver coins and making them disappear as a part of the somatic components when casting a shadow spell.

Are the power components part of the core rules or a supplement? If a supplement where are they from? Thanks.
