While chaeryoung on the other hand have better alignment with great back control, maybe that just gives an illusion she have better control overall.

Her neck gives an exaggeration to the choreo which adds flavor. I prefer Chaeryoung dancing don't get me wrong. Because all through out the routine her moves just stands out cuz the choreo focused more on stamina, sharpness and fluidity.

I would say that Chaeryeong is the example of a good natural dancer, and Yeji is an example of a good trained dancer. For example, on Wikipedia it is spelled “Moon Gayoung” (she’s an actress if you’re not familiar with her) but on her personal Instagram she spells is “Mun Kayoung.” Literally the same thing, and most people call her “Gayoung” so as long as the hangul translation is the same it doesn’t matter. Both are deserve the title of being "Main Dancer" but both have different styles. Both have trade marks. Yeji is fierce and swag, Chaeryeong is Feather like/Fuild. Both are great and stand out in their own style. For me, the difference in their skills is so small that is almost equal but for me Chaeryeong super slightly a head to Yeji. Because Chaeryeong is balance, she can easily dance any style she wants.

Yeji’s dancing is more powerful but her moves are a smaller. Chaeryeong is more flexible and her dancing is more big. I don’t wanna choose favourites but you choose which you like better.
Its not that Yeji's dancing is smaller, it is just that her dancing is more sharper while Chae is more smooth, Yeji usually does b boying thats why her moves is like more swag while Chaeryeong is really more like Chaeyeon, they both move like a feather, I really hope Chaeryeong would get more recognition for her dance
Comparing doesn’t necessarily mean they dislike the other. Both of them have different dancing techniques and style and can be compared. Comparing isn’t always something negative- most of the comment section is comparing them out of appreciation.

Yea this choreo requires more fluidity with the occasional sudden energy and sharpness (not to mention a ton of hip and waist isolations and movements), which Chaeryoung masters to the tee. Yeji's styl requires her to be sharp and eye catching all the time, which (ironically) makes her less eye noticable because Chaeryoungs style just matched Not Shy so well.

This is very stupid. Both have very different styles in dancing. Yeji is far more suited in hiphop, like powerful moves but is flexible to other types of dancing. But you can clearly see that her style of dancing are those find in boy groups. Now Chaeryoung, imo is leaning into movements that are considered sexy, example; hyuna. They have both fluidity and grace and great dance lines. Yeji has powerful moves since she was initially trained for hiphop before jyp.

I wouldn't say that Yeji is more suited in hiphop. It is actually Ryujin who suited in Hip Hop, Yeji is more of a versatile dancer, she can adapt any style. She has a better technique than Chaeryeong but she can't distribute her energy evenly. That's why sometimes she looked like overdance when its actually not. Overdances is like Twice Jihyo. Both are great main dancers, its just that Chaeryeong takes the edge but the gap is not too far, its little to none.

it's the matter of preference, i enjoy chaeryeong's dance style, but they're both equally good. the same situation in bts, jimin and hoseok are both main dancers, but i like jimin's dance style more. I guess I just love more fluid and graceful dancers.
I think this is the best comparison one can give. you really can't say who's a better dancer cuz they have different styles. Chae and Jimin style is more fluid and sensual while yeji and hobi are more powerful and sharp and I personally prefer jimin and ig chae now style but that doesn't mean they are better dancers than hobi and yeji just different
THIS!! all i see is people giving backhanded compliments. it literally just depends on your favorite style of dancing. i prefer dancers like jimin, chae, momo, and taemin, but i also think lisa, seulgi, yeji, and hobi are phenomenal dancers.
Chae: her fluidity is incredible. The way she makes every step clean is just wow. Yeji: the way she makes very single step marked (idk if that's said correctly, sorry) is awesome. Her strength and pure charisma is just in other level. I would recommend Chae to practise her strength and Yeji to practice the fluidity of her steps. I get why their both main dancers, they are both awesome, but in different ways. Yeji is more of a performer dancer while Chae is more of a technique dancer.
My opinion is that yeij’s performance is what tops of her dancing but when it comes to dance just shown in this vid that definitely goes to chaeryeong for me
In my opinion when it comes to judging yeij on dance then you would see lots of powerfulness, sharp and fast movements but it’s kinda being over done (over dancing ) in some parts that should be done slow . Yeij over dances quit a lot but it’s her PREFORMENCE that makes up for it . From watching many itzy dance vids I can tell that yeij is a powerful dancer so if itzy would do a graceful or a slow dance she wouldn’t be the best at it . Also it stops her from being able to convert to other dance styles faster . on the other hand chaeryeong is more of a balanced dancer and because she is able to use her gracefulness fluidity and powerfulness at the right time it allows her to deliver a much more better dancing technique and it would catch your eyes really fast because of how much styles she is able to put in one which makes it fascinating . I think that’s y chaeryeong is being preferred as the better dancer to many people because she uses lots of styles rather then stick to one .but it really depends on your preference if people like yeij’s style more then that’s totally fine there is nothing bad or wrong about yeij nor chaeryeong. This is just my opinion and my observation as a dancer watching both chaeryeong and yeij .

Both are very good but personally I feel that it is a little better chaeryeon because it was versatile, Fluid, and their movements adjust to the rhythm of the music , as well as marks the steps very well (also yeji) And what I like about Yeji is that it gives him a very good personality when dancing and energy

Chaeryeong : she focus on the control and feminic touch. She is really good and her hip control are extremely perfect, body rolls and smooth but sharp movements are really good.head postures are perfect and overall she is the best here. Yeji: she focus on sharp and powerful moves . Her sharp and well controlled movements are really good, her style is similar to that of seulgi from rv. I'm a trained dancer and joined many local big competitions too. Here's my explanations, so I saw on some vids that Yeji is into b boying and such hiphop style so that's the reason why her dance skills is showing her hiphop side and sharpness while chaeryeong could pass the sexy concept, I like how her hips moves and she could fit in "dance hall" and sexy type of genre while Yeji is in G-style. They have different style and techniques and in a group you need those kinds of people to well blend it, so for example if this move is a bit needs move hip moves, chaeryeong will put on the center by the choreographer and when it needs sharp and facial then Yeji could fit in ,so I wish y'all understand that and stop comparing on who's the best because they're both good but different in style. Dance has many branches of style and techniques, you can't learn it for only a couple of weeks.

Her neck gives an exaggeration to the choreo which adds flavor. I prefer Chaeryoung dancing don't get me wrong. Because all through out the routine her moves just stands out cuz the choreo focused more on stamina, sharpness and fluidity.

I would say that Chaeryeong is the example of a good natural dancer, and Yeji is an example of a good trained dancer. (edit: I actually rephrased a bit, Yeji is a good example of how training helps you expand and get better, even if you are a naturally good, or even average)

Both are deserve the title of being "Main Dancer" but both have different styles. Both have trade marks. Yeji is fierce and swag, Chaeryeong is Feather like/Fuild. Both are great and stand out in their own style. For me, the difference in their skills is so small that is almost equal but for me Chaeryeong super slightly a head to Yeji. Because Chaeryeong is balance, she can easily dance any style she wants.

Yea this choreo requires more fluidity with the occasional sudden energy and sharpness (not to mention a ton of hip and waist isolations and movements), which Chaeryoung masters to the tee. Yeji's styl requires her to be sharp and eye catching all the time, which (ironically) makes her less eye noticable because Chaeryoungs style just matched Not Shy so well.

Both are great main dancers, its just that Chaeryeong takes the edge but the gap is not too far, its little to none.

People are saying she is overdancing, no -- that is her style, BIG, BOOMING movements to punch the viewers' attention. To overdance is to get out of the technical aspect WITHOUT rhythm, body harmony, and precision.
For Chaeryeong, her style is sexy and her strengths are her hips and her chest. Due to her massive fluidity, she produces the best body rolls.
NOT SHY is more of body rolls, aiming for hip and chest movements, which are Chae's strengths that's why here she aces it the best. Yeji's technique is powered, and she comes second in this choreo but technically her powered style gives ANOTHER vibe or taste in the choreo.
They are equally monster dancers. Think of Chae as fluid as water, and Yeji as blasting as fire. Both are essential elements and equally needed to balance the nature (in their case, both are needed to balance the dancing line with Ryu having swag dance style and Yuna having growing hip-hop style)

In my opinion when it comes to judging yeij on dance then you would see lots of powerfulness, sharp and fast movements but it’s kinda being over done (over dancing ) in some parts that should be done slow . Yeij over dances quit a lot but it’s her PREFORMENCE that makes up for it . From watching many itzy dance vids I can tell that yeij is a powerful dancer so if itzy would do a graceful or a slow dance she wouldn’t be the best at it . Also it stops her from being able to convert to other dance styles faster . on the other hand chaeryeong is more of a balanced dancer and because she is able to use her gracefulness fluidity and powerfulness at the right time it allows her to deliver a much more better dancing technique and it would catch your eyes really fast because of how much styles she is able to put in one which makes it fascinating . I think that’s y chaeryeong is being preferred as the better dancer to many people because she uses lots of styles rather then stick to one .but it really depends on your preference if people like yeij’s style more then that’s totally fine there is nothing bad or wrong about yeij nor chaeryeong. This is just my opinion and my observation as a dancer watching both chaeryeong and yeij .

Both are very good but personally I feel that it is a little better chaeryeon because it was versatile, Fluid, and their movements adjust to the rhythm of the music , as well as marks the steps very well (also yeji)
And what I like about Yeji is that it gives him a very good personality when dancing and energy
I dont know if its just me but chaeryoung is better in most aspects. Can become fluid and sharp whenever its needed.

@@bumblebeepillowpet Sorry i didn’t rlly make myself clear, I hate that *aspect* of these videos. Without those dumb comments they’re interesting to analyze from a dancer standpoint. You can actually learn a lot from these, especially if you’re trying to cover the dance, because each member does each move a little different and you can find the cleanest one to copy when you dance by comparing.

Chaeryeong : she focus on the control and feminic touch. She is really good and her hip control are extremely perfect, body rolls and smooth but sharp movements are really good.head postures are perfect and overall she is the best here.
Yeji: she focus on sharp and powerful moves . Her sharp and well controlled movements are really good, her style is similar to that of seulgi from rv. Even though she is overall good she is a little stiff on her hip movements than chaeryoung but still can execute her choreo with girl crush concept
*In the conclusion both are extremely good and have different styles. But chaeryeong is a little better in terms of control and fluidity*

OmO Yeji is so charismatic in her dancing. She got everyone of the moves perfectly, while Chaeryeong is more of a dancer, I think Yeji is more of a performer. Chaeryeong gets the skills perfect, and Yeji captures the audience’s attention.

For Yeji, her dance taste and style is powered and huge movements, with speed, precision, and sharpness. She has the best body control between the two. People are saying she is overdancing, no -- that is her style, BIG, BOOMING movements to punch the viewers' attention. To overdance is to get out of the technical aspect WITHOUT rhythm, body harmony, and precision.
For Chaeryeong, her style is sexy and her strengths are her hips and her chest. Due to her massive fluidity, she produces the best body rolls.
NOT SHY is more of body rolls, aiming for hip and chest movements, which are Chae's strengths that's why here she aces it the best. Yeji's technique is powered, and she comes second in this choreo but technically her powered style gives ANOTHER vibe or taste in the choreo.
They are equally monster dancers. Think of Chae as fluid as water, and Yeji as blasting as fire. Both are essential elements and equally needed to balance the nature (in their case, both are needed to balance the dancing line with Ryu having swag dance style and Yuna having growing hip-hop style)

And to tell who is good in dancing, nobody needs to be a professional dancer. Yes professional dancers reasons will be valid but other people who choose Chae over Yeji might be because they think she have the fluidity, gracefulness,great control over her body while some other might choose Yeji because she have great power, sharpness, expressions, clarity. So nobody is disgracing or hating other member while choosing the other. And yes I think Chae is better dancer than Yeji but that doesn't mean I am hating Yeji. I'm a trained dancer and joined many local big competitions too. Here's my explanations, so I saw on some vids that Yeji is into b boying and such hiphop style so that's the reason why her dance skills is showing her hiphop side and sharpness while chaeryeong could pass the sexy concept, I like how her hips moves and she could fit in "dance hall" and sexy type of genre while Yeji is in G-style. They have different style and techniques and in a group you need those kinds of people to well blend it, so for example if this move is a bit needs move hip moves, chaeryeong will put on the center by the choreographer and when it needs sharp and facial then Yeji could fit in ,so I wish y'all understand that and stop comparing on who's the best because they're both good but different in style. Dance has many branches of style and techniques, you can't learn it for only a couple of weeks.
