There's a dozen or two songs I've heard throughout my life that transcend a simple 'song', for me. This is one of them, and the video serves the message exceptionally well. There's multiple angles you can look at the song/video from and each one forces you to take a step back and take a long, hard look at yourself and how you view the world, the people in it, and where you fit in - where we all fit in. There's been many a time I listened to this song/watched this video on repeat and just... thought. I could go on for hours about all the things the song and video convey and how they all converge to one truth - that we're not so different after all and should treat one another with kindness and compassion. Ty for the reaction!

The opening of this song with another woman singing gets to me. My wife's mother was from west Virginia and my goodness that sounds like her. She's departed now. And when she passed The Shikina glory of God filled the room and my brother in law saw the sparkly light came through the bathroom even, he knew instantly his mom was with God. Beautiful song. Thank you for posting. 🕊⚘️🙏

Hey!!!!! I loved this reaction and your talk afterwards. Hearing a song that makes you think is a beautiful thing. I hope you are doing well. Not sure if you've heard her sing "Right Hand Man', but her voice and (not gonna spoil it) gives me the chills every time I hear it, and it's been that way since she released it. Just for your enjoyment, not requesting anything, but I'd love to know what you think about it if you do decide to give it a go. Good to see you smiling, as always. Take care!

She got ridiculed and canceled for this song; right after it was a hit, because she dared mention god without divinity. Those same people complain about cancel culture.

@@psycheinc-theSLC I appreciate the reply. I will now subscribe. If you have time, react to "The Chicks - March March", official video. They were canceled, too; but prior to this video. This song/video was their comeback and FU, to those that canceled them (They called out the Iraq War for being based on lies; before the US government admitted it was based on lies.).

@@silentassassin47, I am an athiest, but have noticed that people who act and approach things as Christ in the Bible would (minus the impending doom for the majority of humanity for not kissing his ring [which is in itself completely hypocritical], are crucified so to speak, by the very people that claim to follow his supposed teachings. 🤷‍♂️

Some painting with awful big brushes in this thread.
I was very active in the church when this song was out. I never heard any criticism of it by fellow Christians. Not sure where any of this is coming from tbh.
Maybe some hypocritical televangelist or something? I wouldn't know because I never listened to them and saw right through them.

How do we treat those with whom we come in contact? What if God was one of them? One day, you',ll face Him for judgement. Hopefully, you'll have come to accept God's Grace before then. But what if He first replays your treatment of Him when he was that stressed waitress you treated so badly or that out-of-work man on the corner begging for food?
