I know I'm gonna comment on this one and it's a long video so is starting early. Love the way you started out skeptical of the Becker shred collab but got into it as it went on and was pretty good if a bit improv. It showed some of the difference in tone and style between Herman and the Doo. As you know so much more about theory and guitar than I will ever know, I could see you biting back commentary so you could hear the amazing jam going on. I know the sound both of these amazing musicians make is just beautiful to my ears. The Doo feels like a younger virtuoso with natural talent enhanced with endless hours of practicing who is also a genuinely nice guy. Herman's feels like the more experienced musician showing how it's done like a sensei in an anime. Such great chemistry with these guys. I particularly like the harmony dual solos tossed in the mix. I have seen this collab video like 12 times so I watched you mostly, it's great getting your reactions so I can go back and see what they did that I might have missed before now. How much harder is it to play without seeing the frets? I imagine a bit but always thought guitarists learned sound and finger placement more instinctively after practice, like how I sing but through a different source. Rambling here. Thanks for the video.
Dude your cat is fucking awesome. Looks a bit like mine, except mine has rounded ears and the brownish area of your cats fur is tones of grey in mine. Both are big ones with nice sizeable bellies lol. Perfect foot warmers.
