Love your videos, very comprehensive. Personally I would be happy dropping down the 1" to a smaller size for 35mm. portraits with a 23mm 1" sensor make faces look horrible. 35mm-85mm is the sweet spot. I'd happily drop the Ultrawide if it meant larger sensors on the telephoto and main. Very excited to see your take on the Vivo x200 ultra with the 18mm 1/1.28" and 35mm 1/1.28". Please compare it to a cropped 1" from 23mm to 35mm and 50mm. What is your opinion on variable aperture? gimmick or useful feature? Thanks again for the great videos and hard work)
Hello my friend. I think variable aperture can be useful, if implemented right, right now in third party apps it is stuck at f2. And there is no way to control it in auto mode, that is also not great. And of course missed opportunity to operate it as a shutter.
I hope the rumor that Oppo is reconsidering maybe releasing the X8 Ultra globally is correct, the latest tech, 1 inch sensor, the return of the vegan leather back, it’d be nice

I don't think I have the balls to buy a Chinese ROM-phone, so I guess I'm stuck choosing between the Vivo X200 Pro, the Oppo Find X8 Pro and the Xiaomi 15.

I have updated to os5, but without camera "improvements". So I see the same performance. But I won't update to the last firmware, that came to people this week. I am happy with what I have now.
Great review! OPPO Find x7 Ultra is my current smartphone! It is not ideal (as every smartphone/device) but a great flagship, one of the best of sure! Regarding losing contrast when shooting against sun - I think this is because of "weak/strange/not optimized" HDR algorithms, also I do not like how my OPPO shoots sky especially sunset/sunrise... But I love how my OPPO makes photos of the people (kids, family) so it is fair to say that it is Best (or at least one of the best) portraits camera phone! Hope to see a significant upgrade in the coming OPPO find x8 Ultra.

Hello my friend. I tried to tell about my favorite hardware/software in this final review videos in the "what I liked" and "what I want in the future" sections. I have old video called "Smartphone of the Future 1.0", but it is old and boring, I made it when were very tired inside a car, I want to update it and make 2.0 version 🛸
My 2 biggest problems are inability to use smartwatches on wear os, and one hand mode is not comfortable, it is the same as on most other devices, like pixel, xiaomi, iphone. I just wish for slightly more options. But other than that, I had no problems with it.

It usually happens before videos start, if I do not pay attention, it refuses to focus during whole time. Each time I made a comparison I faced it. But closing opening app or switching modes fixes it. But on photo it is unpredictable and no easy solution
@lltechview I've noticed that phones does not like tilt axis, when I tried to make a photo of a ground level sign from a high floor, or when I tried to take a photo of something high while staying on the ground. May be on video it has something to do with it, because I usually start recording in tilted position, to quickly switch devices in the bag, when I have 6 devices with me + camera + dji, I try to switch between them quicker. In such conditions Oppo was the only one that made me to rewatch final results and reshoot sometimes. Nothing criminal, but something I want to look forward in the future releases
@lltechview it is not something that is reproducible that easy, I did not get it all the time, but in some occasions. And it is a tricky part, that I did not know what to expect. If it truely was a deffect, I think that I will get problems all the time, sometimes it works, but when I relaxed, I can suddenly get it out of nowhere. Any way, it was enough for me to feel uncomfortable and annoy me, not knowing when exactly it will fail. But what can be more easy to reproduce, behavior against sun and backlight. As you said, even you noticed out of focus on photo couple of times. If your phone have this, may be others can have it in some shape, may be your device has less of it, but others can be affected more by "something" in the construction of it. Or indeed it is a defect in my unit and nothing to be worried about. Anyway, I will keep an eye on it in x8 Ultra 👁️🛸
Do not know my friend. May be in the future, right now I have another priorities, to focus energy on more stuff. For example meanwhile I make this final reviews I have 4 laptops, m1 max, m1 pro and 2024 zephyrus on 4090 and 4070 rendering task in applications for laptop reviews.

После того, как я попробовал х200 pro, я не уверен что хочу что-то из этих нововведений, мне нравится как фотографирует по старому, без чёрно-белых линий на гранях объектов, немного мягкое, но естественное, с текстурой. Но многим нравится, и говорят стало похоже на это, хотя кто-то говорил что наоборот мягче стало, не знаю где правда, но пока останусь на том что есть.
Недавно твой канал увидел, самобытно обозреваешь! Так детально никто на Ютюб не делает))) Продолжай в том же духе! А у тебя постоянно на руках все эти смарты? Можешь по 8к видео сравнение сделать?
Я обозреваю то что самому интересно или что задумал купить для себя. Я уже продал Самсунг, Оппо, Ксяоми. По 8к лучше себя показал Vivo и 4k 120 там лучше
If you reject anything smaller than 1"-type sensor on high end devices, you're going to be disappointed in the upcoming vivo X200 Ultra. Rumoured to come with a 1/1.28" main sensor.
We can test it, may be they can bring nano glass from Pluto and surprise us with ultra clear glass quality. Or buy our hearts with something else. I set a level, but I understand that not everything and not imidiatly. Lets see what life will bring 🛸🔮✨

I have used 2 oppos in the past one was budget and the other was midranger. oppo has very good build quality, no problems with Color os either.

Interesting. The focussing issues I did not encounter in video at all. Photos one or two times but nothing that stands out.

@@AlienTechnologies33 Maybe a hardware defect. It sounds to something I had with the Vivo X90Pro+ that turned to be a hardware defect of some sorts.
