I've never deadlifted before with both my hands gripping the bar the same side, I always have alternating. Not sure if it matters but i been thinking about keeping them on the same side simply because when i have music pumping and im ready to lift i don't want to be in my head thinking about which way i need to grip the bar and how to position my straps.

he has a video up for the power building split he follows I think, but for powerlifting thinking of a set split isn't the best idea since what you should be thinking about is deadlift, bench and squat and their accessories that will increase your strenght, for example two squat days, two/one deadlift day and two to four bench sessions a week is what a lot of powerlifters do

Be warned guys if you are a natural straight back dead lifter like I was do not attempt this form if it does not feel natural and you have to force it because it will not add to your numbers. If you do want to attempt it start with extremely light weight way below your working weight.
