@@DavidVanPatten358 The campaign of COD 2 is what makes it superior to games like COD 4, 5, etc. It doesn't try to be an action movie or dramatic. It's goal is to try and make you feel like a historical soldier, instead of a Movie/Hollywood soldier. I find it strange that you call COD 2 "cookie cutter" and yet praise the Modern Warfare games. For the Modern Warfare games were far and away more generic. Not only were they endlessly copied by every FPS game from 2007. But Modern Warfare itself was cribbing off of tired old 80s and 90s action movie tropes and cliches. What made Call of Duty 2 great was that you weren't a super hero, or an action hero, you were just an common soldier.
Microsoft should make a MCC type of collection for the classic Call of Duty titles and make the bundle with remastered graphics (and the option to play the original titles as well). That way every title from 1 to MW2's campaign can be played on modern consoles. - Call of Duty - Call of Duty: United Offensive - Call of Duty 2 - Call of Duty 2: Big Red One - Call of Duty 3 - Call of Duty: World at War
Also will be nice if there will be other collection for Classic Modern Warfare games, with remastered versions, all working from one menu, fov slider, and feature to switch between graphics

@@DavidVanPatten358 The music sucked in World At War. So did the NPC gun sound design. Had they had Graeme Revell as composer instead of Sean Murray, that game's soundtrack would totally be dope.
The way the weapon rests and is mostly hidden away in the bottom of the screen in these old IW games is so much better than now where the gun model points dead ahead and takes up the whole right screen area like the soldier rests the stock against his face idk its always bothered me
Because Treyarch only had 8 months to make Call of Duty 3, largely because Infinity Ward got pissy with Activision just because they didn't want to do another WWII game.
Played the campaign so many times especially on veteran. The hardest level was defending the hill 400 bunker

I honestly liked Call of Duty 1's M1 Garand and MP40 sounds but hell, both 1 and 2 were great.
If this game had mw19 engine it would be one of the best shooters ever made,although this game good itself.
