- Pokemon Legends Arceus Full Living Shiny Dex - In today's video Wild showcases his completion of the Shiny Dex in Pokemon Legends Arceus by catching a shiny of every available species in the game (except for the shiny locked ones) to complete the Pokemon Legends Arceus Living Shiny Pokedex.
This video was completed over 6 months of work and hundreds of hours of gameplay using overworld shiny encounters, massive mass outbreaks, and the original reset hunting for shinies. I wonder how shiny hunting will work in Pokemon Scarlett and Pokemon Violet? Alpha Shiny Spiritomb, Shiny Cherubi, Shiny Burmy (all forms), and especially Alpha Shiny hunting Machamp were especially hard. Alpha Shiny Riolu was an amazing surprise but Shiny hunting in the distortions like Shieldon and Shiny Cranidos were super hard but finally after 6 months of hunting, I finally completed the living shiny dex in Pokemon Legends Arceus!

Im really proud i met my goal! I got really lucky with shiny encounters but playing other games while waiting for distortions to spawn helped a lot 😂
I’m actually currently working on a shiny living dex of Legends Arceus only need Chimecho line Porygon line and Magnemite line plus a few other to get the entire living dex

I think living dex and shiny living dex are the most useless thing ever cause you don’t get any rewards or nothing, only boxes with pokemon in order
@@NotScared Same thing as shiny hunting, Its not the reward that its all about. Its the journey you go through to complete a goal even if it takes months that makes it all worth it

I’m just playing the game for the first time and my first distortion shiny, which I came across when I was not hunting at all, was rowlet and I was SHOCKED. I count myself quite lucky. Can’t imagine how much time and effort you’ve put into this, well done!
What an epic encounter. My first space time shiny was a dusclops, that I failed. Dont feel bad tho, since I have a shiny of everyone in the line now

I have 52 of the 224 left to go. I kind of work on it in bursts. I can only do so much at once, so I have massive respect (and a little bit of jealousy) for people who have completed this journey

This is my favorite game to get shinies in. The sound effect makes it nice so u dont miss them, and the stars make them special. I really hope they bring back the sound effect in the next pokemon game because im tired of straining my eyes in SV

It is scaring me that all those Pokémon are not stored on Pokémon Home. If your switch breaks you could lose them all because they are stored internally on the switch not the cloud. Great accomplishment and love your video. You have a great personality for UA-cam work - wish you great success!

Just found your video and have to say I am impressed and I hope to be there to some day. I didn't get the game that long ago but I decided the other day to try my best to make a shiny living dex, since this is the most realistic game to do it in and it not take a million years.
I've already got a bit of a head start on the distortion pokemon. Got a full full odds shiny Rampardos. Had no shiny charm, it wasn't even registered in my dex yet. I had entered the distortion to find the dinos for dex completion and the first and only Rampardos I've ever seen spawn was shiny. The absolute panic of making sure I didn't loose it.
Also I am convinced that eevee outbreaks just do not exist. I have played for over 130 hrs so far and I have not seen a single one. Not in a mass outbreak or in a massive mass outbreak. Hell there is like a 50 hr gap between the first cherubi outbreak I saw and the second one I saw. So I already see the hell all those are gonna be.
Also shiny alpha's of baby pokemon like your cleffa are one of the funniest things. I have a shiny alpha bonsly myself. It's just hilariously huge.

The fact you did it in 6-7 months shows how easy it is to get shinies in this game never the less this is an amazing achievement
from what I understand, outside of massive mass outbreakst, the shiny rate is normal its just we actually get to see them/hear them finally. Makes ya wonder how many shinies you've missed out on over the years 🤔🤔🤔

Bruh it took him the longest to get Rowlet and Dartrix and I got it in less than than 100 hours. But I never encountered a single shiny alpha in over 200 hours of gameplay. I’m inspired todo the shiny living dex because of the vid. Great vid btw

I love this video! I'm trying to get as far as I can with my shiny living Dex before Scarlet and Violet come out. I'm about half away there. I've only failed one shiny so far, an Eevee in the distortion. I'm about 150 hours in. *Funniest thing, I've never gotten any perfected research shinies. Lol and drifblim line and ghastly line I have far too many of.

Back when I played Pla a lot I was flying around and found a full odds shiny mine jr and it was my first shiny in a long time
Funny enough, I got the static shiny Magnezone completely by accident. I never hunted for it. It just shined when I was going to an elekid outbreak. I didn’t even see it at first. I was flying around for 5 minutes, just confused-
I'm nearly done with my shiny dex, too! I had to use violet to help me with distortions and eeveelutions (STILL NEED FOSSILS + PORYGON + LEAFEON + SYLVEON) but it is coming together!

Very nice, congrats ! Now there's the thing with Pokemon Home, you can even get the shiny legendaries dexed (personally I hunted them on BD and Sword, and the most annoying ever is Manaphy, for which I just spent 80€ to get a Pokemon Ranger hacked...The only missing one for me is Enamorus ;)
I've 67 shiny's to go. But this is with all the unowns and every burmy/ wormadam form. So considering that, I do think it's going really well. No luck with distortions, but I've found 32 alpha shiny's. I have 3(?!) Shiny alpha infernape, 2 alpha tangrowth and 3 (!?) Pachiricu alpha. So I guess it's compensating for the lack of distortion shiny's lol. Congrats on the dex! Really cool!

ive been working on this for a while myself, but i actually got the rowlet line in a single Massive Mass Outbreak. i was so incredibly lucky because i didnt even have a perfect dex for them yet

I didn't see a single shiny till I got to the massive mass outbreak mission. My first on that mission was riolu. Since then been finding a bunch, still embarrassing to admit I can't find the three I want, magikarp, I love that red garados, the bear, or a jolteon. Never seen a shiny in the mass distortion yet

10:30 I used permutation method to get alpha shiny spiritomb and it took me maybe like 5 tries to get it and then i proceeded to use it for alpha shiny heracross which took me around 12 tries and it was in march 2024 and i really love these two mons.
Also i am trying to get shiny living dex as well currently around 100 pokemons , wish me luck. I will try to come back to this video to edit this comment once in a while for my progress :)
Also i dont really hunt regularly but when i do oh boy i get atleast 10 shinies in a day for weeks
And today on 13 Aug 2024 i got 15 shinies in around 9 hours or so.

It’s just crazy man! I have at this moment 3 shinies. My first ever is magmar!! Then skoropi! And then the free ponyta one. I also have a perfect dex for the quilfish but nothing yet.
Still need to get a complete dex as well and not every pokemon is research level 10. It takes a big dedication but it’s also a grind just to set everything up to shiny hunt as well.
But crazy bro. If I would chose, I would say that shiny Bonsly is one of my favorite. With its red ball at the top of his head. I really like that one.

Congrats! Personally at over 700 shinys and 60+ alpha shiny, but still missing more than half of distortion to finish off the last few. Currently trying to do Shieldon+Bastiodon then just finishing breeding the rest in sword/shield for the distortions. What was your total play time? Getting close to 999 myself and still 100s of hours off.
I’m about 500 hours in - not including reset hours for the original shiny hunting method.

the entire dex was caught IN GAME :D - I have thousands of hours of play. The distortions were the worst. I got extremely lucky tbh

Somehow I actually grew to love the female shiny Basculegion more than the male
I m doing a shiny living dex too!!! But I m doing it with all forms like Hippowdon. If there is a different between gender, I m making ( Pikachu, sudowoodo, ursaring, scyther etc...)
