Love your channel! the cinematography and editing in your videos is excellent, really a bummer that you don't get more exposure than you do because honestly you deserve even 100x the subs you have rn. I bought me an lp60x with confidence because of your review and im loving every second of using it.
Thank you so much..... I bought the Polk Es30 center, Polk Es-15 for my Front sides and the Polk Es-10 for my surrounds... Still looking for the sub... Just going to wait and see if I really need one... But, I will probably go with the Polk Es8' sub.... What do you think? The Es8 will fit in the space I want to put it in... Or would you use a different sub? I really enjoy you channel...
hi! loved the video and learned a lot :) I was looking at the Micca MB42X-C center speaker for my audio technica record player. would it work with the record player and if so, would i need an amp or reciever at all? Thank you!
Good sale now on, so looking at Polk E350 @ $299.00 CAD and the Klipsch Reference Next-Generation R-50C @ $278, can't decide between the two. Any advice would be helpful Reply
Great video man thanks!!! I want your opinion on something. I recently purchased 2 PolkAudio CSM center channel speakers and i decided to connect them as front left and right speakers. I haven't received them yet but have never used center channel speakers before. Have you ever tried to use them that way as oppose to single center channel speaker. Would like to hear your input, thanks!
I personally have not used a center channel speaker as a F L/R speaker setup, I am not sure what the benefit would be. Personally, I'd stick with going for speakers that are specifically designed for the F L/R setup.
Great video! If I already have 2 bookshelves and a dedicated subwoofer, do I need my center to provide much bass? I’m wondering if the Sony is worth the cost and space increase over Micca
for those that aren't self ordained audiophiles yelling at us from deep down the rabbit hole to spend spend spend , Polk is the way to go . they are just VERy hard to beat for the money . My all time fav speakers are still the ORIGNAL multi speaker SDAs . They were/are nothing special to look at but WOW what an incredible sound stage and super fast bass . they were rated at 18 hz!
You talk about movies being mixed deliberately for the center channel but then complain that the center channel doesn't have enough bass. That's hypocritical because movies are also mixed with a subwoofer in mind to go along with the center channel, and reviewing a center channel speaker without a subwoofer is so pointless. Useless info. Thumbs down.

if you want center channel, but i would recommend using 2ch stereo for playing LPs, as this is the best way to listen to it :)

Klipsch will generally be more efficient, so low power goes further in terms of volume. Sound quality is subjective however.

That's a bad idea. Centers are not designed to handle the range and base of a left and right. You will have substantially inferior sound

bass from the center channel is very nice while watching movies so i believe that its worth it though im not a expert

Yes and no. People like me want to hear center channel reviews without any other speaker filling the gaps.
