Jeet Kune Do teaches in philosophy to take what is suitable to you in the world and leave the rest behind, but there is nothing in this world that is fully suitable to me, and I just take and enjoy and appreciate what I like from all over and whomever while leaving everything I don't like that isn't suitable to me behind. I come from the time where people didn't feel like they were supporting EVERYTHING about a person or thing just by supporting the person or thing in some way. I watched Golden Boy for the first time when I was 14 or so and with it being the first of it's kind of anime that I saw, I laughed my butt off while watching it, appreciated the lusty perverted nature of it then that I avert my eyes from now as much as I can, but really took a shine to how the main character really learned everything he could, always. He never let a moment go by that he didn't learn from. That was my biggest takeaway from it and why I really enjoy it. It's a one of a kind series. He's also really kind hearted too and displayed integrity whenever it really counted. A lot of Christians in this world have this attitude and outlook that whatever they consume has to be 100% conforming to what the Heavenly Father wants, but we as Christians have to live in a world where things are not like that at all, and have to navigate the minefield that is this world while we still live in it unless we have enough money or the family associated to go off the grid and live like the Amish. I do not. If I did then I probably would at this point.

Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love thy neighbor as thyself. He is reasonable and judges by function, not by form. He sees what is in the heart, not the appearance. I try to do the same. Seek the Lord while He may be found, for there are many in this world already given over to a reprobate mind because they rejected the Truth or they assented to support of obvious lies for their own selfish reasons. The writing on the wall is obvious now at this point.
