I tend to rotate through my perfumes. But ended 2023 with working on finishing about 5 to 7 of my perfumes. Going great so far.
Hey Carmen! I’m not surprised by Candy Yum Yum. I have been shopping my stash Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere has Become one of my favorites as if was brand new.
Life's too short for backups! You'll never get threw your wishlist if you keep buying the same perfumes. To me, nothing smells so good that I won't love another just as much.
My most worn in 23 was; Black Opium, Cloud/Midnight Path, LoverDose, Summer Moments, Beach Flower, Bare Vanilla, Naked Fantasy, set of Jimmy Choo minis.

With the way new perfumes are going, I don't think I'll ever find ones to replace the old classic loves. The brand new stuff just doesn't hit the same lately.

My most worn for awhile now is Dua's Vaniglia Dreams. It's vanilla marshmallowy goodness and I wear it all year around. Also, their Cloud of Caramel Vanilla also YSL Le Parfum and Lira❤

I try to give all my perfumes time :) and so I never finish! There are the ones I blend like my BKR inspirations. Also, some bottles spray quite a bit, and the bottles finish up faster!

Sometimes classy perfumes feel boring! I love them but I don’t wear them everyday, I like to think I’m sophisticated but a girl who likes to have fun, bc I love some of my sweet cheap perfumes also😊

You have the most exquisite taste👌 How do you wear the more sophisticated or sexy ones? Like Rouge smoking for example? I literally cannot figure out when to wear things like that. 😐 Anything deep and floral seems like it has to be a special dress up occasion.
I have an 8 mil of Vanille Insensée which I also find beautiful. Lesson of my perfume diary: do not order so many samples. Some I forgot about and now they are evaporated :( and some were very expensive samples! 😅 😢😢
That's one of the many reasons why I don't like samples. I sometimes wish I did 😕
I started tracking my use in June, so at the end of May, I'll know my most worn. Hard to tell now, because it definitely varies by season and I also use things more when I first get them. From the dents, it looks like Born in Roma and Gentle Fluidity Gold are the front runners.
I can see why those 2 would have bigger dents! I've only worn Gentle Fluidity Gold like 3 times since I've had it because I've categorized as a very special fragrance only. 🤷♀️
I need to track because honestly I look back and besides one or two I really blank out on what I wore.

I have Coco Mademoiselle and love it. I actually prefer the Coco edp. Can't be without it! I have a back-up, and I rarely buy backups..😁

Right? Yum lasts, it just isn't loud! I think I may need to explore the Chanel brand more because I don't think I've ever tried Coco. I want Coco Noir next because it's so lovely!

I don't have any backups but the way things are going with discontinuations, it's crossed my mind recently. My most worn was Breathe by M&S, Dior Homme, Dior Elixir, A Scent and A Drop by Issey Miyake, Remember Me by Jovoy, Material by Amourage, Paris by YSL, Tresor by Lancome and Champs-Elysees and Insolence by Guerlain. Breathe was a new find in 2023 and i blew through 100ml❤❤.

2 of the perfumes I have backed up are Mugler since they sold the company. I'm afraid the new formulations will not be as good. Even my Coco Mademoiselle I purchased 2nd hand because the current formulation doesn't smell as good to me. Once I finish the bottle, I'll never have this formula again. If I would have known, I would have bought a back up before.

Flowerbomb was my last signature scent before my fragrance collection started to explode in size. It will always be one of my favourites. It works mazingly on me and I am often complimented when I wear it. I have some of the flankers and I enjoy all of them quite a bit. One of them is a prize possession in my collection, Flowerbomb Extrait. It is nearly impossible to get now, so it is one of my special occassion scents.
Awh I love that you get to have super exclusive version of your signature scent! So it makes it even more special!
The Coco Mademoiselle bottle I have is an older one and it's the last bottle I have that still smells like the old one (the new ones don't smell the same to me) still nice but just not the exact same.

A perfume I’ve finished in the past was Woman by Ralph Lauren. It was definitely an easy reach that can fit any occasion.
MAC Candy Yum Yum is the very 1st perfume I ever bought. 2018 or 2019. Love it and finished minus a few sprays. Love the bottle. Have not bought a new one yet and may not. 💖

I used up one travel if Vanilla Sky and ordered a full size last year (found a good price). It’s a great one alone or layered.

I would say Sweet Tooth and Flower Bomb would also be in my most worn along with yes I am, Mon Guerlain, ck In2U , La Belle, Orchidae Vanille, La Nuit Tresor Nude and a la Folie. I haven’t tied any MAC fragrances because I usually like something that lasts over 8 hours for before work. What kind of performance do you get? How long for Yum Yum Pistachio? As for your son, mine started wearing cologne at 8 or 9. He has 20 bottles, but really only wears about 5 of them. Half were hand me downs from his dad. I am sure he will start wearing them more often once he is a teenager.
MAC perfumes don't last very long sadly. 4-6 hours and I spray about 8-10 sprays. I take that bottle with me!
Yum Pistachio goes down to a softer scent after like 6 hours but it's still there for like 10-12. It's not a loud one at any point though.
My other son is 14 and he has about 4-5 fragrances. He only likes classic mens freshies (aqua di gio).
Good to know. I don’t mind quiet, as long as it lasts. My son likes those as well. First Instinct Together, Only The Brave, Le Male, and Eros have the biggest dents though. And he snagged a CJ Scents pumpkin fragrance from my tray. It smells better on him anyway.

Your videos always prompt me to recognize my own similar behaviors & allow me to understand what I really like, & manage my own collection better too.
I’m totally wowed by & adore sexy, sophisticated perfumes & have therefore bought several, too. Like you, I live in a small town & shopping - to even sample perfume - means more than an hour of driving. So, while I’m there in the big city smelling perfumes, that sexy, sophisticated perfume makes more sense …back home tho, they kind of end up looking neglected but oh-so-pretty among my collection. I’m trying to be more organized with my selection on Friday nights however, when me n my guy often go out; but sometimes even then they’re almost too sexy for the regular small-town haunts we frequent. I’ll be more attentive to their use this year tho & see how it all shakes-out.
Anyway, whereas most of my days begin with the gym and end with the office, my go-to reaches are for more casual or fresh, aromatic, uplifting, or soft floral/musky & non-gourmand perfumes: Chance Eau Fraiche; Acqua di Gioia; Clinique Happy; Cannabis Santal Fresh (so good!); Stash SJP Unspoken.
The perfume I used the most tho was my bedtime perfume: Heliotrope by Oriza L. Legrand, OMG such a sweet, almond/cherry-like beautiful way to drift off.❤
I'm glad we can reflect on those things. I also have to drive over and hour to get anywhere 😩.
Those sexy perfumes get me every time! Who doesn't want to smell sexy! I only end up wearing those when we go out dinner and its only once or twice a month maybe. Although I enjoy florals now I still can't find the right occasion for them.

Surprisingly Blanch Bete was not one 🤔 I love it so much but I always kept waiting for the right times to wear it. I also didn't wear it around my Mexican family because of the Tuberose.

Try it and let me know if you get it! I always get it and it goes well with the rest of thr fragrance. It balances out the Gourmand parts. I think this fragrance was the reason I started to appreciate that specific kind of jasmine. It's the same jasmine to my nose as the V&R Good Fortune.
