It's the lens I use most often. Especially since I use the XE4 as my main Fuji camera. My go-to kit is the 18mm f2, 27mm f2.8, and Viltrox 56mm f2. I hope you don't regret selling it.
I haven’t sold any of my lenses yet. I’m in the fortunate position where I don’t need the money from selling any. Would you say I should just keep mine then?
I owned the 18mm f2 briefly and, like you, I didn't get on with the that 28mm equivalent field of view and sold it. I don't regret selling it. I always think if gear isn't getting used then you might as well move it on. The worst that can happen is you buy another one later on.
Yeah I sold the 18mm f2 and am thinking of buying it again. I just love the look of the pics I took with it. Whereas I sold the 14mm f/2.8 and the Laowa 65mm macro and I have no interest in picking them up again. In that sense, selling gear is actually quite a good way of working out what you want and don’t want!
great videos! However, when you mention "layers" on your the pic you print analysis. I dont see any of the layers you mention. The image is super flat, just scenerio. This lens is suitable to shoot people, get closer and so. Not a great match for when you walk around in a lifeless scenario.
Its a great lens especially for tight shots.

I regret selling every lens I ever sold.
noo don't say that...😅

I don't mind this focal length but thinking about 16 f/2.8
I have the 18 1.4 and love it.

Is that Long Beach?
Excellent photo!
Btw, All the b&w images shown here are SOOC JPEGs?
not fully sooc! I had some settings on in camera, and adjusted exposure for a few in post but that's pretty much all :)
Which lens did you replace this with?
Putting money into….food 😂
That made me laugh
Off topic, but you’ve got a great voice, Buddy. If I were you, I’d look into some kind of voice over work..... just sayin’.
I really like shooting with this lens when I'm inside buildings and I want to be more discreet. People hardly notice you're shooting with it.
