I'm going to change the map Sensor for my mom's Honda Fit I'm getting P0107 code and I checked her map sensor and I didn't hear that snap. I'm going to check the readings today and clear her out. My mom's 08 fit has like a skip in the engine and she's not running smooth! Shifting hard in the beginning and starts off shaking. The reading my scanner got was the code above.
At least in Subarus, I've found that using a Philips screwdriver with the point slightly flattened allows the blades to seat fully in the screw head which minimizes the risk of slippage and stripping.
Hey if you come across Mdx (Tl)work and you tape it,I can't have enough of them,I've been doing all my own work because of YT info lately,I'd like to attempt a valve adjustment, but all the things that come apart scare the crap out of me,also a good idle pulley video would be for me,thx and keep up the gd work
Can you please verify the setup you used to test the map sensor? Initially with harness fully connected to sensor, the scanner reads 100 kPa. Then you unplug the harness and jump only the power and ground connectors and the scanner reads 0 kPa. Then you jump only the signal and ground connectors and the scanner reads 176 kPa. Those are the values that will tell me that the map sensor works fine?
Don't ever use a paperclip to probe the front of the connector terminals, it can spread them out to far and cause connection issues. Use a t pin or get actual back probing tools.

Do you have the voltage to pressure data on this sensor? I would like to use it in a MegaSquirt install, but I can't find the curve for it.

Mine is giving 5volts when the sensor is unpluged but it drops to 3.64 volts when i plug in the sensor. Does that mean bad sensor??????? 😭
Do you have a p0175 fix on the Tl/Mdx??
How bout you do it for people that don't have the means
