Planting Bamboo Phyllostachys bissetii and Vivax (Chinese timber bamboo)
I have been wanting to plant bamboo for so long and it finally happened!
Can't wait till it starts growing!
The Bissetii bamboo is 1 inch and gets 30 feet tall and the Vivax (Chinese timber) gets 3 to 5 inch and up to 70 feet tall!

I'm surprised you didn't use a barrier. But i suppose you will just mow 1x a year since that's all you have to do.
It's fall 2023, i would love to see a follow up video to see how this filled in. It looks from the landscape that you reside somewhere in the middle of the country.

I'm not a overly sure how fast this will grow, I know the first year is slower but once it gets established new culms will reach full hight in a couple months
