5:20 came here to say something HAHAHA, the ending of the first book is a great closure to all the events and you can leave it there and not read the other two books, that's what they meant by a "real ending", the other two books tell other cases, the second the disappearance of the older brother of one of pip's friends and the third book is pip dealing with her own stalker, if you want to go deeper into the story you should read the other books, there are things from the first book that are answered in the other books at the same time small details from the first book finally make sense.
