    Amazing review! I just got my first motorcycle - a 2019 Ducati Scrambler 1100. Took it out the first night for a "test" drive and ended up riding for three hours. I've riden it every day since and am absolutely in love. The sound, the look, the feel, the balls, Jesus Christ. What a beauty :)

    This is a well presented review that just needed a bit more research. I’ve just bought the 800 which I think is the pick of the bunch - but now I have a better appreciation of the 1100. Thanks!
    IMHO you don’t need to flaunt it! You have a natural beauty and speak well - that’s a given - it’s not enhanced by upselling it. Thanks again and keep it real!

  • @Regdor

    Cornering ABS is more than fancy. Its the most advanced tech this bike has to offer. It means you can hit the front brake while turning and not end up on the asphalt.

    • @motodolltv
      @motodolltv  5 років тому

      Well now that definitely deserves 2 thumbs up!! Cheers Rodger

    • @Photo-ms1mo
      @Photo-ms1mo 4 роки тому

      Rodger Johnson Similarly like a standard ABS this is aid only feature, not a replacement for your riding ability, so in certain situations it may not be really helpful.
      You should never count on that systems and ride as without them using your predictions and modulating the braking force to get the best outcomes possible..

  • @ronaldvangulden7314
    @ronaldvangulden7314 5 років тому

    Wow, awesome review! Very nice video work and loved the riding in all the different conditions.
    The 1100 Scrambler is a cracking bike and even nicer then the already fantastic 800 model.
    The "cable" is just a styling thing mimicking the routing of the brake cables on the original Ducati Scramblers from the 60's and 70's. Personally I kinda like it.
    Keep up producing such well made, original and extended reviews, really nice to see the amount of effort that went into this video.

    Informative Review .. I like the 800 Scrambler for low seat height .. but want the 1100 Power to embarrass Harleys here in the USA. My Yamaha FZ-07 can't handle dirt roads.. but I do have a tank bag , Side cases, Tops case with luggage rack to hold the dry bag with tent and sleeping bag.
    You explained the electronics and functions .. Now I will study the specs.. I am baffled by the air cooling.. Must have a large oil cooler then ?
    You need to do a Review on the Indian FTR-1200.. I think abs for curves really means if you have a big lean angle it won't allow you to go full throttle ...

      The Indian FTR-1200 can however.. here with the"PlannedDemic" Hoax I suppsed there might be some deals on Motorcycles the FTR-1200 is now $1,500 off plus $500 credit for acessories.. that makes it more temping ..

    Congratulations to your entire team on making such a professional looking critique film of this gorgeous machine! : )
    Also, i now say this to almost all bikers if i notice it on their bikes, it is recommended to keep the rear footpegs down even if you're riding solo cuz they saved my bike a couple of times when it fell, totally saved it and i couldn't thank whoever told me about it enough for this really good tip off.
    ...oh, and that nose-ring u rockin looks killer! my sister has one on either nostril haha.. if you want i'll send you some nose pins from india, they make special silver ones in bangalore, check them out and holla if u don't find any down unda : ) Cheers : )

      @@motodolltv Jacinta, you look great despite that trendy/hipster nonsense of constantly mucking about with the focus. I suspect the unfairly high number of dislikes is due to the awful, nauseating camerawork. You are very watchable and the content looked promising and I'm sure Nathan is talented, but please tell him:
      1. NOT to get pissed before a shoot.
      2. Learn how to use his new camera BEFORE filming and leave the blurry-focus shots "on the cutting room floor".

    @9:55, how do you drive with only the LED-lights on (the parking light)? I have a Ducati Scrambler 800 and I don´t think I can do that.

      The 1100 has an automatic headlight that comes on in the dark. I think some markets don’t allow the daytime running light.

    Bloody ripper gorgeous!! Finally a review showing it off road - I was beginning to wonder if it had the ability to leave the sealed world.
    Wish I’d met more women like you riding 😢
    Hmmm I was looking at the Triumph scrambler, but you’ve really shifted my bike crush.
    Great review 🖤🏍️💋

    Nice review! I had a 2013 Monster 1100 and unfortunately it was the most unreliable bike I've ever owned. Hopefully they are more reliable now, but I'll still be going with the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE, looks better to me (obviously that's really a personal thing), much cheaper to own/maintain and top notch suspensions :)

    • @motodolltv
      @motodolltv  5 років тому +1

      We are all entitled to our personal preference. I own a Triumph Thruxton and have ridden the 2018 Triumph scrambler, think it was the 900 engine...it didn't really excite me, but I'm sure the 1200 will have a lot more zip. Good luck! :)

      Moto Doll TV I adored my 2015 scrambler that barele made 60hp, and Ive owned and tried 185Hp+ bikes. The sound, character, ergos, reliability, is what rocks my boat now hehe

      The ducatis are traditionally renown for roasting the rider (well that's been my personal experience) but i didn't find the scrambler as hot in general. Also when we shot that sequence i hadn't been riding for very long so it wasn't super hot ;)

    Nice review, thanks so much. Much love from Russia! I only wonder if there is a motorcycle which can do both service roads and serious speeding and that is not a cow of a bike like those large adventure bikes. I get in traffic jams quite often but I also like hitting a nice gravel road and also my speedo is marked just "below 200" and "over 200". So far I've ended up with a naked bike and continuous front fork repairs xD There's no perfect bike out there. But there are perfect girls and cheers for that!

    • @motodolltv
      @motodolltv  5 років тому +1

      Thank you Oleg! As wonderfully versatile as something like the BMW GS range is on road and off road, they aren't the most attractive looking bikes. I think you'd be surprised with the Scrambler. It would handle service roads easily. and is great in traffic. Any serious adventure riding though, it might not be fully equiped for.

    Aaaaaaaa I love this! Fell in love with Scrambler Ducati in Bologna April 2016 and the love has only grown stronger! I WISH with all my heart I could afford this magnificent beast! (I would love the Desert Sled...) But frankly I would take ANY Scrambler Ducati! They are just amazing! Awesome review & I totally agree on that cable 🤣 - my Honda CRf250l has the same cable in the same spot so I feel your pain! Thanks Jacinta for sharing the love! @teresamcgregor

      Cheers Teresa! The desert sled is a lot of fun but not as well balanced as the 1100 in my opinion. Hopefully you'll get one in the garage sooner rather than later!! Thanks for your support and encouragement :) xx
