GOI Inter State Transmission System Scheme
Approved by : GOI
Purpose : To evacuate 4.5 GW electricity each from Rajasthan and Karnataka and transfer it to another states.
Total budget : Rs. 13,595 Cr
Schemes will be implemented on Tarrif Based Competitive Bidding (TBSB) mode.
Target : To generate 500 GW Renewable Electricity till 2030 out of which 200 GW electricity generation is already connected.
Rajasthan RE electricity generation details:
1GW from Fatehgarh complex, 2.5GW from Barner complex and 1 GW from Nagaur (Merta) complex.
All in all 4.5 GW RE electricity which will be transferred to Mainpuri region, Fatehpur and Oral complex of Madhya Pradhesh.
Completion period : 2 Years.
Cost : Rs. 12,241 Cr.
Karnataka RE Electricity generation details:
RE electricity from Koppal and Gadag area will be generated amounting to 4.5 GW.
Completion period : till 2027.
Cost : Rs. 1,354 Cr.
