Thank you so much for making this video truly a cult classic. One day at work I said but it was the Warriors and a kid who's actually 20 years old knew exactly what I was talking about lol
I'M 60, I remember when this movie came out. Wow. Cops in New York were on high alert. Gangs around the city were acting out. Mayor Koch was in charge. Man how time flies. Blessed to be alive. Thank you warriors...
What a great memory to have! Time flies, but those moments and the sacrifices made by so many will always resonate with us. Wishing you continued health and more wonderful stories to share! ❤
I went to the comic con when swan and cleon and most of the cast celebrated the anniversary of the film in New York and they were. All amazing and really cool guys we all ride the subway together and I was in WARRIOR HEAVEN !! I’ll never forget that as long as I live !
Absolutely! It's wonderful to see how some of these actors have maintained their charm and talent over the years. They really bring a sense of nostalgia and joy when we see them again!
My favorite movie, got to meet the actors, everyone of them are real good people and and have total respect for their fans...was very lucky to have met Jery Hewitt (baseball fury leader)...he caught up to me alone and engaged with me in a very thoughtful conversation,...rip Jery 😢
I watch this movie all the time, even rode the subway train from the park to coney island on UA-cam videos of New York Metro Subway. (You should also) I will love each actor for their gift to this story. Lifetime fan of THE WARRIORS... Houston Texas 🇨🇱🤠 60 years
I guess you could say Kelly and Remar went on to have the most successful acting careers after The Warriors. Both followed Walter Hill over to 48 hours a few years later, with Kelly playing, who else, Luther.
I'm 63 and I first saw this movie back in 79 when I was 17 going on 18 and again when I was in Army basic training at Fort Knox in 80' and is still one of my favorite movies today.
I was 14 when I saw this in theaters when in it was released. This was both exciting and scary, unsettling and inspiring. I was rebellious, this film was strangely cautionary to me, there was an apocalyptic element to it.
Thank you for sharing your interesting experience! It's amazing how a film can evoke such a mix of emotions. The deep messages and apocalyptic scenes must have left a strong impression on many people.
That sounds like an amazing experience! Seeing a movie with the whole neighborhood must have been so much fun. It’s great how certain films can bring people together like that 🥰
Seen this movie at least 27 times. Timeless and a great cast made this movie memorable!! Loved the character Ajax!! Read the book too but not as good as the movie, which is rare and a testament to the skill of the producer and director!
Wow, 27 times is impressive! Ajax is definitely a standout character. It’s great to hear that the movie surpassed the book-such a rare achievement! The talent behind it really shines through. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
When I was a teenager, we used to go to the midnight movies and watch this. I've probably seen it at least 25 to 30 times. It's a great film that creates a great atmosphere that is filmed a night
That sounds like such a fun tradition! Watching a movie that many times really shows how much it resonates. The nighttime vibe definitely adds to the atmosphere. Thanks for sharing your memories!
I completely agree! "The Warriors" really captured the spirit of that era and has such a unique vibe. It’s amazing how it still resonates with audiences today.
He played Dutch Schulz in the Cotton Club and the killer in 48 hours . He was never given nice the good guy roles . Forever A Jacks . Bad ass for life .
That's awesome! The soundtrack really captured the spirit of the film. Having the album as decoration is a great way to celebrate those memories! Thanks for sharing!
A top classic movie for sure. I've seen it countless times through the decades as it never gets old. Liked how the John Wick 4 movie paid homage to The Warriors movie.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! "The Warriors" is such a classic and has a unique vibe that really sticks with you. What’s your favorite part of the movie?
Come back for me! I may have missed the way-back machine, but never the movie! I have the movie on vhs, cd (burned), dvd... the soundtrack on vinyl and cassette (doubles, just in case something happens to any of them)...
Definitely a classic! It's one of those films that you can watch over and over again. Owning it on DVD is a great way to keep the memories alive. Thanks for sharing your love for it!
That sounds like such a fun time! Watching it with friends always makes it more special. Owning it on VHS brings back those nostalgic vibes too! Thanks for sharing your memories!❤
Totally agree! It's interesting how some have maintained their classic looks, while others have transformed completely. It really highlights the passage of time!
Especially when these geniuses posted pictures of the wrong actors. "Number one" is a picture of Richard Grieco that they said was Paul Greco and Steve James, the 80s action star was NOT a Baseball Fury
I was 10 years old when I first saw the ad for The Warriors on tv. It showed the Turnball ACs in vehicles, aggressively chasing the Warriors who were on foot-terrifying!😊
That sounds like a memorable moment! The intense imagery of the Turnbull ACs definitely left a lasting impression. "The Warriors" has such a unique style and atmosphere that really captures the tension of that chase. It's amazing how films can stick with us from such a young age! 😊
That’s awesome! It’s special to connect with a great movie before it became famous. Watching it at such a young age must have made it even more memorable for you. What do you love most about it?

@@CelebritiesHeritage Your welcome. I also love this movie because the first time that I saw it was on HBO with my brother. He is older than me, so it was a rare opportunity as a kid for me to spend alone time with my big brother.
