My name is Maurice Campbell aka Mark Abdullah and my organization Renaissance Action National Network is organizing African Diaspora Economic Summit for 2021. Our
Mission, Agenda and Plans of Action for economic movement. HBCU college needs to attend this Economic Summit and find out our plans for education surrounding economic stability.
Stay tuned for more information coming soon.

I've never heard them called "historically white institutions" , lol. we say PWIs (predominantly white institutions) . in the south , when speaking of 4 year colleges , you either go to a PWI or an HBCU . I went to a PWI in Louisiana & would like to go to an HBCU for my next degree .

As non-American this was eye opening about the genesis of HBCUs. So what does it mean and imply when Donald Trump boasts about giving more funds to HBCUs during his tenure?😢 is saying Delaware State University is sitting on a plantation considered CRT?😂😂😂

Most HBCU's are poorly financially managed and operate at red-line or in the red year to year. They typically run million dollar operating budget deficits, meanwhile increasing their operating budgets: increasing pay/provisions to sub-par university staff, executives and professors. Most have small endowments or cash reserve, so borrowing to PAY THE OPERATING DEFICIT is common and foolish. Austerity cuts are needed!

      HBCU BLESSINGS TO YOU.
The HBCUS were NEVER properly funded in the first place. If you don't have the proper financial funding then you are always operating in the RED. They make something out of nothing.

Dee Swint this isn’t true. Accrediting agencies regulate all institutions of higher education. Part of the accreditation process is to ensure that the institutions operate according to their established policies; one of the policies is to ensure proper financial operations of the institution

That may be somewhat correct. Yet in the end if you don't have proper funding or adequate resources you are always are going to be stealing from yourself in order to fix another problem. DUE TO LACK OF FUNDING... 💯 👍🏾

They really don't have large alumni support
