- Should the Detroit Lions draft Kool-Aid McKinstry in the 2024 NFL Draft? Meko seems to think so and he's hear to explain why the LIons can't afford to miss out on the best man-to-man cover CB in this class.

Great stuff Meko. Loved hearing you on Detroit Lions Breakdown this morning too on my commute.
Kool-aid injured?! He's definitely a Lion, Brad rubbing his hands like birdman 🤣
Dwight McGlothern, CB, Arkansas…
I would really like an interior OL/C, but Kool-Aid or DeJean would be a welcome addition.
I think the Lions will ultimately go OL at 29 but I’d love for them to take either of those CBs if they’re available
I'm sold on JPJ or Barton unless they can trade back get extra picks and take Zach Frazier
He’s the best CB in draft and the hate on him is just criminal at this point
You nailed it! Your about to blow up after Lions draft him.
I’ll go one step further, the Lions should move up to make McKinstry a Lion. A five or six team jump should do it IMO, but let’s face it, Brad Holmes has a much better handle on where players are going to be picked. He has earned our trust due to his past success in the draft.
I’m with you on that one. He’s one of the few players that I would trade up for
Nope... Renardo Green is a better CB and you can get him in the 2nd.
I also like the upside of Max Melton much more than KoolAid.
I like Renardo Green as a prospect and if you can’t get Kool-Aid I’m all for taking him on Day 2. But he’s not a better prospect not even close when it comes to their abilities to cover man-to-man
@@PrideofDetroit I disagree 🤷♂️ Green gave Malik Nabers his toughest match up of the season.
@LionsOnTheHunt313 According to Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas they both said on separate occasions Kool aid was the CB that gave them the toughest matchup last season.
@@jaylenhunter9950 Haven't seen that clip. I was just going off of the numerous draft evaluators that were really impressed with how Green played against LSU that game. And a number of them stated it was the best film they studied of a CB going man to man against Nabors and Thomas. 🤷♂️ The players opinion is obviously valid and carries weight tho.
Like him but Kool-Aid has a 3" screw in his foot which could lead to recovery issues.
Kevin Durant and Deebo Samuel are just a couple that recovered from Jones fracture surgery. Doesn’t seem like it’s too big of a deal.
Perfect situation for him to come in and sit behind Davis and Robertson while he heals up
He's talented but he has a broken bone in his foot
Kool aid him don't understand how he went from cb 1 to like 5
Fractured foot, recovery could take time
@@marktristanviguri7308 fracture not broke probably be ready by training camp
I don’t get it either, but if he falls to the Lions it could another great gift for Holmes
