@LilmannReacts You are right! This was later in their career and we see timelines from when they were kids up to later. I love watching the video. Sad part…Barry is alone ❤ Want to do one of the few songs they recorded but DID NOT WRITE? They were on a Carol King tribute and did her song WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME TOMORROW. It’s a video of it online. Also…going through your Bee Gee’s playlist, I don’t see YOU SHOULD BE DANCING! This song stayed #1 on the dance chart for 8 weeks!!! The video online shows all 4 brothers performing together for a rare appearance (Barry, Maurice, Robin, and Andy)
Their music was consistently excellent throughout their careers to the last album they did together This Is Where I Came In. Barry released two albums after his brothers passed away and sang on another Barbra Streisand album as well.
While later in their career, this was still almost 30 years ago. This single was released in 1997. Their final single, "This Is Where I Came In" was released in 2001, so yeah... "Alone" was only a few years from their final single.... which is also a song you need to check out, and I recommend watching the official video for it. You will like it... it was a bit different from their previous stuff.
Song is so good. Video clips are great. A lit are from their home movies as kids. Love your reaction. You would enjoy: Obsessions I Surrender (promotional video) Ordinary lives Dogs
I have watched this particular song & just ADORE it!! Then they really are amazing singers/self-taught with guitar & also Maurice who plays the guitar & playing a sort of piano. So sad both Robin & Maurice have passed away at different times, yet Barry is still singing - a bit - yet he feels so alone without his fabulous twin brothers. RIP Maurice & Robin. With the 3 of them together they were just incredible. Also they wrote songs for other professional singers too! Amazing guys💔💔💔💔💔
Check out their Arsenio Hall appearance in 1991, it has two live performances of an early and a later song which are excellent, When He's Gone and To Love Somebody, one showcases Robin in the lead and the other showcases Barry, but both are beautifully performed.
Love this song by them. Even late in their career they are so awesome. Kiss. Ana
You said it perfectly, “top tier at its finest”
So many great songs.
❤❤❤
One of my favorites!!!!
My favourite part of this great song is when Robin's vocals come in, just magic. The nostalgia with the old clips is so great to see also.
