They're the weaponset assigned points. During the campaign, everytime you got a book that gave 2 skillpoints, those you can assign differently based on which weapon you currently hold. It's a bit awkward to use, I recommend looking up a specific video about them.
Hello, Dont you think it would be faster with 2 cast on freeze? With enought sapphires with meta energy and meta perks on skill tree i think you can do it and it will be faster because you will not have to cast manually. You can use frost nova with astral support gem to freeze from distance. Have you tested it?

How you ever tried making sorceress quarterstaff build?
Quarterstaff skills are all fast and small hits. I cant find any good synergy.
