It wasn't like this story came at him cold turkey. Kyle TOLD them this story before, then the original T101 killed everyone. Abrxas01 Yeah definitely. If i remember,in T2 the police said to Sarah that the man who killed 18 police officers in the police station is seen and they were asking questions about the terminator. So Doctor Silberman for sure knows something about the massacre in that police station. And he encountered with the terminator while leaving.

Especially when he is roaming the corridor opposite trying to find her and she has just barely escaped her cell, she even sees and hides away from him, thinking he is just an Officer on patrol... Especially practical effects. He basically squeeze out every potential juice out of it. The orange glow on the metal after the T800 arrived was just lighting. The opening battle used every trick in the book of practical effects to bring it to life. In True Lies, the truck flip was done with miniatures and they built a near 100 foot long miniature bridge. I think even the strafing Harrier is done with scale models.

At that time, these visual effects were beyond human imagination and people were enchanted by seeing these images.I was a child, or to be more precise, a teenager, and I had been thinking for a long time after watching the movie Destroyer No. 2.I thought that one day a destroyer would come from a planet and the earth would be destroyed I had forgotten my religious beliefs and had doubts I later found out that human science in the field of cinema and images has progressed so much that it is hard to believe and even a real resurrection can be designed.A day of judgment

Fun fact: when Sarah picks the lock to free herself from being strapped to the bed, the shots of her picking the lock were cut in most versions of the movie in UK theaters.
Reason: actress Linda Hamilton picked that lock for real in that scene. UK law forbid though that the movie showcased/taught viewers how to pick locks, which is why those shots had to get cut in the UK.
