Damn, Caesar's right. It is the humans that are the ones who needs to be trained.
Yeeeah
When Cesar does it it looks so easy, when I do it it's not easy at all. : )
Dogs can easily perceive your emotional state. Always remember: calm, confident and relaxed.
My thought exactly😂
I'm hooked on this dude now. It's funny how you have a problem with a dog and you think it will last it's entire life and this dude fixes it in five minutes.
It all looks so simple. I don't have a dog myself but I visit people in their homes to help them with their recovery after a hospital stay or an illness. Some of them have dogs. So - thanks to Cesar - I know not to pay them any attention until they are calm. And then I reward them with affection on my terms.
Very grateful as some dogs were a problem to me but not anymore.
If you enjoy & understand what you see, but don't have your own dog, you might consider boarding dogs in your home (overnight on a weekend, or "daycare" when you're home. Rover, for example. That could be a good way to experience what you learn without a long-term commitment. I know people who have done that. They like dogs, but didn't want to own one at the time.).
@@markfuller good idea. I'll consider it 🙂

Right, yet he can't even calm a dog down and instead bullies it into a corner and gets bit, continues to blame the dog lmao, the guy is a fraud and knows nothing worth knowing of dogs
@@A5tr0101 If it's so bad, why hasn't someone produced something so better? Twice as many episodes? Twice as many subscribers? Where is everyone? Wouldn't someone (anyone?) cash in on fame/fortune by showing something so much **better** (according to you)?
I have to say that these either/or, good/evil, right/wrong depictions remind me of Aesop's fable about "the dog in the manger." The ego loves when someone is wrong. Isn't that really what this is about? You can't have your own channel to walk the talk, and show people a superior way. You just have to talk smack?
Cesar is by far the dog whisperer who uses the least amount of sheer forces succeeding in transforming the dog and human to their better version of themselves. Cesar is such a rare gem, I always learn so much just by watching his teachings. I always develop fear when I was watching other dog Trainers, either they made the dogs looks really brutal and scary or their methods no matter how gently they tried, there were struggles/frustrations. Cesar is just so one of his kind, so special so gentle, so natural with care and compassion. I really admire and respect Cesar from the bottom of my heart
Everything cesar says about energy is true. I am honestly a more calm person that knows the importance of energy thanks to you and your teachings. I am a more calm person not just for my dog but everything and situation in life. Thanks a lot cesar! God bless!
I never had a dog, but i discovered him about 10 y ago, i think, and Yess, i ve learned a lot, from him! As you say , about the energy i transmit and receive from ppl, about body language, about humans and animals.
Cesar is the best!
Amazing how you can teach others how to apply loving rules and boundaries with such excellent results!!!

My 2 corgis’ habits have changed so much because of Cesar. Thank you for existing!
I don't even have a dog and I watch. My friends have dogs and wish they would watch. Friends dogs have many of these behaviors. Such good instruction.

I'm in love to Cesar on how he correct dogs, it's making my eyes puff because I watched it over and over
Cesar's "tchhh" is simply *magic*.
No, its inhibition, fear and averiveness :D
I will love to learn about you more Mr Cesar handsome Millan
Thank you for what you said about blind dogs being able to learn as well as seeing dogs. I've been searching for months for a trainer with experience to help me teach my blind dog the basics for safety. I've been told by trainers that there's not much you can do for a blind dog, which is absolutely infuriating.
Hello dear do you care for a chat and get to know each other more better
@AscendedCod No thanks. The world is a better place with him in it. Too bad no one can say the same for you.
yeah dogs “see” the world through smell in the way we see the world through sight. their olfactory system is their most important sense for them when processing their surroundings (and frankly anything else they do lol scent > sight). if we’re being honest, trainers that believe blind dogs are disabled in a way that is similar to the challenges faced by blind humans says more about their proficiency on dogs leading me to believe you dodged a bullet every time a trainer turned down your willingness to pay for their clearly, undeserved expertise on dogs.
@AscendedCod that’s disgusting. why would purposefully insult someone because you wanted to see their response? that’s quite literally sociopathic
Wish i can add more than one like to every video.. thanks mr Millan for sharing this methods. They change the way me and my dog live together.

What perfect timing! I hadn't seen one of your videos in a long time. A few months ago I broke my ankle and while I can now walk w a cane, I've been unable to walk my dog due to pulling. Your video reminded me that she is reacting to my fearful energy. Time to go to work!
Even though I know and actively practice everything Cesar preaches-

Cesar Millan you're such a beautiful and inspirational human being, the real deal. Balanced. Not only intellectual but also not just working on only "energy" without logic. Best of both worlds. And you actually use all the gifts God gave you to improve the lifes of tens of millions of people and dogs. I adopted a 8 month old French Bulldog as my first dog. I thought she was super dominant and agressive and tried for many months, maybe even 2 years to correct her bad behaviour. I failed. But your shows tought me she was not dominant and agressive, she was nervous and anxious. The fact I was struggeling with mental health problems only made it worse. I thought I could hide it from her, but dogs are sensitive and intelligent. It is easier to hide psychological problems to humans than dogs haha. Now she is a 12 year old sweetheart that is not even agressive towards cats anymore!! Thank you Cesar!
Cesar should live forever. Hail Cesar!! 😂😂

Very informative ❤️.....love you sir ❤️❤️
Very nice
Never disappoints. Love his work
This was enjoyable to watch. I do not like doggies jumping on me when I go see my friends. They scratch with their paws.
One thing that i do if a jumpy dog greets me is i put my hand out in front of their face so it physically stops them from jumping. Or another thing is just to turn around and not pay attention.
Awesome❤❤❤
You did a beautiful job on those dogs ☺️
Eres el mejor cesar you are the best!

I need that LEASH!!!! My pup is crazy😂😂
i literally have a perfect "child"!! she has never chewed something not hers, comes to me when called, very gentle/loving! never begs for food at the table. most loving, well behaved baby I've ever had. loves the neighbors dogs and very social. I HAVE NEVER TRAINED HER FOR ANYTHING!! SHE SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND EVERY THING I SAY. OH....EXCEPT FOR THE STEALING THING!! SHE COLLECTS THE NEIGHBOR DOGS TOYS AND PILES THEM UP AT HER DOOR!! ITS MORE LAUGHABLE THAN REPRIMAND-ABLE she knows she cant take them home and has no problem leaving the toys!

My son has a 3-year-old crazy coonhound mix rescue. He spent thousands of dollars on a trainer that took the dog and then returned it and would make house calls periodically to see the progress of the training. Personally I don't see any difference. As soon as the doorbell rings or even if you just enter into the house the dog is all over you. The dog has a leash on constantly in case someone comes to the house he can pull the dog and control it with the pronged collar yikes. His biggest mistake was not training the dog as a puppy when he first got it. I want to share with him some of your easy training videos and Hope it helps the dog.
PS I've been following you for probably as long and as far back as you walking the dogs on the streets without leashes and your straw hat on LOL
The trainer is trying to fix the dog without fixing your son. I would say the problem is always the humans around the dogs
@@cy4330 it's true. My son doesn't have patience. I feel so bad for that dog because I believe his craziness can be corrected but not the way my son is doing it.

We have a young 13 week Catahoula puppy. He is very loving, however he is already showing his hunting instincts and intelligence.
We live on a life style property here in New Zealand, so we have plenty of space to exercise him and tire him out.
We have puppy biting and jumping up issues.
My question is, (as many have asked) what type of collar/leach do you use?
You don’t explain. Is it a slip collar??
Thanks 😊

Learnt lot of things in just 13 mins, wow amazing ❤️❤️❤️🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Cesar, do you think these principles translate well into parenting children with aggressive/spirited/determined personalities and if so, how? Your statement about the dog with the hose reminded me so much of my 10 year old son who gets fixated on something and then will not get away from pursuing it. We do not relent, but it is then an all day argument from him that goes into the next day.
That's an interesting topic. There's a couple of dog-training styles. One is more like Cesar's in which not everything is a choice. You should be able to assert a boundary to your dog, not just wave treats and hope someday it chooses the way you want it to. I think many parents would benefit from being more like this with their children. (Instead of free-range parenting.). The other style of training is based upon Skinner's behavioralism, 4-quadrant, more choice based "behaviors that are ignored will extinguish. Behaviors that are reward will occur more frequently." You could read Karen Pryor's book "Don't shoot the dog" to learn more about that. I was involved in this method for over a decade, and it's not as good in practice as it sounds on paper. I think it's a balance between the two. Assertiveness and behaviorism together works well. Not everything's a choice. But, it's good to gain leadership as a choice.
But, ultimately dogs aren't humans. Humans have egos. We have an inner narrative we constantly tell ourselves. We live in the past and future which creates "the specious moment" (as an educator called it 100 years ago). Dogs are more in the moment. They can be conditioned to react badly to things in the moment. But, they don't really have the ego we have, and cultivate ego-satisfying stories about themselves the way we do. So, I'd be careful translating too much about dog training into people training. It's a different mind.
I don't have a dog but I love your videos!! Thank you!!!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🐾🐾👥So Nice.
