Me! I think this one obviously one of the best FYS album since they made it out from trying to make a mainstream music and staying true to the sound that they like and stick to the melody that resonates with their true emotion and feelings ✌🏻
I know a lot of people think this song sounds a lot like Vash and Knives, but I personally think it sounds more like Vash and Wolfwood. I mean, it has the line "Where a knife to the throat still means best friend". That just screams of them. Seriously though, this song is so good. I just love listening to it~.
wow I've never heard old fys and this seems more my speed, plus trigon is my favorite anime of all time. I just saw them play a few weeks ago just because my friend invited me so this is a weird surprise.
Really feels like Stampede's opening has similar vibes to this song, just with a trap beat instead of this poppunk flow. Clearly shows which eras these songs are from, but both still feel in character to Vash's story
Listen to just awake by fear and loathing in Las Vegas. It’s the opening theme for the first arc of Hunter X hunters reboot. Absolutely phenomenal and those guys were essentially taking a lot from the style four year strong ended up playing just a year or 2 after this song came out
I think that this is about the relationship between Vash and Knifes how Knifes wants to make Vash suffer till Vash gives into him, and a few other things. For example when it says "Where a knife to the throat still means best friend" I believe to be about Knifes rationalization of torturing Vash. The most convincing to me though is the part "Heres to the night we gave our hands, To save each other but we couldn't save our plan, Weeks and weeks of suffering, Didn't matter as much as to how the thoughts of saving your simple complexion, To the baby blues and ruby reds, Of obsession and progression and what you really mean to me" I believe that to be referring to Vash and Knives's fall out when Vash shot Knives and Knives still wanting to make Vash see things his way and trying to making him suffer like an obsession.
It's funny how the song is call Vash The Stampede, while it's referencing the kick-ass character from Trigun of the same name, if you really think about it (considering the lyrics near the end) the song is not really about him. Unless there's some kind of deeper meaning to it, but i dont see it to be perfectly honest.
i totally agree with you man, when i heard the genre space western i was little like idk if this will be good or not, but man trigun was totally awesome
@karitheninja I also recommend reading the original Trigun series as well, as Trigun Maximum is the sequel series to Trigun, which ended.... on quite a cliffhanger.
Trigun Maximum was just the manga rebrand when they did the time skip midway through the show. There isnt a sequel to trigun at the moment and the creator said there wouldnt most likely be a sequel because of the close-ended ending
Hmm...from listening to the lyrics, I can kind of make the connection of Vash talking about Knives, and maybe a bit of Rem near the end, but overall it doesn't really fit the anime. If the tone was more suitable then I'd have liked to make a Trigun AMV, but I just wouldn't be able to make this song work with it...
hmmm. Sweet. ;P Some people complain that Trigun is too western, and indeed it is, but they barely give it a chance. It's a really good series, and this song rocks, just to prove it. ;D
Holy shit. They sound so much different now. I love the song abandon so abandon all hope but this sounds more like a minor key which I haven't heard them before
@NocandNC I don't know, I can kind of see it, in a way. Sure, there'd be stuff you'd hve to udge or edit in creative ways, but I can think of several interesting things to do with it.
@gregthecoolnerd no you fail so hard. i like fall out boy i was just comparing their song naming systems. and after about a month of the post being there dont reply to it the person doesnt care anymore.
Why exactly did they name this song after Vash? Are they all that big of fans or something...? :P I thought it was awesome when I found out an English singing band named a song after the famous Humanoid Typhoon ^^
theyre songs dont necisarilly have anything to do with the track titles. like ever its just how this type of music genre is. like fall out boy the lyrics sometimes dont fit the title. dance, dance being an exception. not saying that they are like fall out boy at all
This comment section is dead as hellll. I know there a couple out there listening to this on the daily, it’s so good!
We’re still here man! We’re just older and quiet now hahaha
Me! I think this one obviously one of the best FYS album since they made it out from trying to make a mainstream music and staying true to the sound that they like and stick to the melody that resonates with their true emotion and feelings ✌🏻

*trigun. fuckin google auto-correct -_-
Is it any coincidence that the best albums of any bands are actually the older ones?
Trigun is one of the all time greatest anime ever made. EVER!
"Wanting something more than a sting by your fingertips / or the poison that resides upon your lips." this song has some of FYS' best lyrics
Really feels like Stampede's opening has similar vibes to this song, just with a trap beat instead of this poppunk flow. Clearly shows which eras these songs are from, but both still feel in character to Vash's story

This sounds like a good opening for an anime!
Reminds me of Rappers nowadays referencing anime characters in their song titles
I hate the empty part at the end of the vid, but I love the music and the lyrics.
Got a love a three minute of silence afterwards.
Love and peace
Tomorrow! I be right there !

Okay: So it begs to ask, when is someone going to make an AMV about Vash the Stampede to Vash: The Stampede? :o
i totally agree with you man, when i heard the genre space western i was little like idk if this will be good or not, but man trigun was totally awesome
Yup
not usually into music like this but it has a nice feel to it
This is funny to me because I named my dog Vash and that's who i think of when i hear that name.
@karitheninja I also recommend reading the original Trigun series as well, as Trigun Maximum is the sequel series to Trigun, which ended.... on quite a cliffhanger.

i think it might but i'm unsure i was looking at Vash on Wiki and this poped up :P
Holy shit. They sound so much different now. I love the song abandon so abandon all hope but this sounds more like a minor key which I haven't heard them before
@ShinyZandera I almost want to! Especially since that I can totally see the connections, however loose, between song and charcter....
Ok, thank you.
@NocandNC I don't know, I can kind of see it, in a way. Sure, there'd be stuff you'd hve to udge or edit in creative ways, but I can think of several interesting things to do with it.
@anikid0392 i dont know many vash the stampedes, do you?
I like this song...but is this song for Trigun's Vash the Stampede?
@gregthecoolnerd no you fail so hard. i like fall out boy i was just comparing their song naming systems. and after about a month of the post being there dont reply to it the person doesnt care anymore.
apprently they watch/read Trigun........... friken win!
Why exactly did they name this song after Vash? Are they all that big of fans or something...?
:P
I thought it was awesome when I found out an English singing band named a song after the famous Humanoid Typhoon ^^
yutavergil😮

Uh yeah. It did
@XPyromaniacXDestinyX You wont regret it, I didn't :D
theyre songs dont necisarilly have anything to do with the track titles. like ever its just how this type of music genre is. like fall out boy the lyrics sometimes dont fit the title. dance, dance being an exception. not saying that they are like fall out boy at all
i dont get it.
I miss og Trigun.. the remake just ain't it. The nostalgia
@KainVKail Yeah, because FYS are awesome and Fall Out Boy suck hard.
This song... I didn't hate it. I just wish the singer didn't sound like a mosquito.
