- Today we're going to check the most common claims about throttle tuning. Therefore we used the Honda E to explain how it actually works.

Installed the XLR and the Racechip Black in my Audi A4. The result/combination, is simply fantastic. I would recommend that again and again.
Looking to do the same, have the GTS and just ordered the XLR. I am trying to find a review with both units working in synergy but only can find one or the other, so good to know someone had great results

The stock throttle tuning and transmission logic in my car is perfect for me but definitely could think of some cars I’ve driven that could really use this.

Hi RaceChip I do have XLR 5 throttle Tuning but the module has been playing up but with GTs working I have feeling the power racing
I am curious about the effect on diesel cars. they are notorious for their 'input lag'. Any one got some insights?

In my manual Toyota IQ, gears one and two are quite bouncy when in slow traffic, the engine hops coming on and off the throttle. Can a throttle controller make the throttle smoother in traffic?

Hi! I have a rs g2 on my car. I want to buy xrl, but it does not have gas pedal Block, as many orthers. I do not want to mix different brands and i think RS Will work better with xlr. So, are you plantio add the Block feature soon? It Will be possible to upgrade today's xlr?

hello i want to install the XLR chip and the Race Chip for my Rav4 2006 VVTI, but i can't find the race chip on your online boutique can you help please.
Mines just came today. But mines didnt come with the controller. Im a bit confused on that part. Where the controller box is supposed to be there's a sticker thats says "app control". I thought the XLR unit comes with the controller with the option to control it via the app

I have a Question.
I couldn't Find Any Performance Chips for the 2022 Jeep Gladiator Mojave because it's N/A & Not Turbocharged, So only the Race Chip XLR Throttle Tuner is Available.
I installed the "aFe Scorcher GT Power Module" which works by Altering the IAT & MAP Sensors into thinking Colder Air is Coming in & Increasing the Manifold Air Pressure.
Doesn't work like a Race Chip which Tricks the Turbo into Making More Power.
Will there be a Conflict between aFe Scorcher GT & Racechip XLR?
Will I get a Engine Light or Dash Error when I Install the Racechip XLR ?
Please Help, Really Need the Throttle Tuners , it's was very Sluggish Before Installing K&N Filter and aFe Scorcher GT, now it Pulls a Lot better with the Additional 21 HP,
but could always use a Little More Tuning

What about claims like "better fuel economy" from throttle tuning vendors?
Has anyone been running the XLR or any other RaceChips on their car for 3+ years? I still see a lot of claims out there about throttle-tuning causing damage and voiding warranties. Hearing from someone who's had theirs long-term would be helpful!
Does the XLR just change the amplitude of the signal from the throttle, or can it actually increase the speed of the signal?
Increases the speed of the signal getting over, meaning the power can kick in sooner, resulting in less lag between pressure on to when the engine then uses the power
I have one installed on my scion Xd and though having better throttle response is a lot better, my gas mileage has went to crap because I can't keep my foot out out it.
@A Han Might wanna consider using the Eco modes more often if you're after improving your mileage :D

Still has ecu delay with ramping up of output. Ex throttle commander user. If you like clutch control thses just make the unpredictable electrics more extreme.
Pensare che ho pagato 500 euro per la centralina per la mia serie 1 e non sono mai riuscito a montarla perché nelle istruzioni metto il motore di una wolksvagen e non capisco dove vanno i connettori.....quello del common rail e facile ma quello della turbina non lo trovo
Can you tune the charging speed? (Of course not with the throttle tuning device)
@Daniel1987H No, unfortunately we can't influence the charging speed of electric cars.
I installed the XLR in my Porsche Macan S. Installation was easy, and took about 15 mins. The first time I took the car out, the XLR performed well, and the throttle response was even better in the Macan's "sport" mode, but the next time I went to drive the car, the XLR had reset itself from the Race mode I left it in to ECO mode. I changed the setting back to Race+, and it held the mode and worked fine for about 5 mins, before resetting itself to ECO. At this point, I'm a bit underwhelmed with the XLR. Did I receive a defective Brain Box? I can't imagine my XLR is acting normally. Anyone else experience this issue I described?

Don’t do it but if you insist then don’t drive it in race mode all the time. After having it a month the RaceChip and the throttle it really works but you pay like I did .... blew the exhaust valves and cracked the number 3 piston in my 2019 Stinger got. If you want you car to last don’t do it

Happened to me too.. dont pay via visa, instead use paypal and it worked fine then
@@gregorykolomvotos3608 if it’s 2.0t engine it could be poor built Kia engine - I know similar case when dyno tuned stinger blew engine out in less than a month (tune was like +40hp and 60Nm so not too much)
Is worth doing it on a 80hp sh!tcar?
For those who are against throttle tuning I really think you need to test the same car with it then without it. You will be absolutely surprised by the difference. It is night and day for example the response is immediately available and it makes the car feel way more powerful
They say that the delay is needed for the automatic transmission to think and take its time and last the torque - not to destroy it. I suppose this xlr fools the system so that this quick action is possible (bypassing those delay times). Wonder does Race Chip pay the repairing costs if transmission breaks?
