As a Broncos fan we saw this coming a mile away but even to me it's still insane that McDainels said "don't talk about the Patriots that way" when Coach Pierce was literally speaking for Josh and trying to stand up for him. McDainels doesn't deserve friends lol.

And he brought up the giants simply as a example of a team that built their own culture and won. Pierce is a real dude and his whole job was to get the players fired up. And yet all McDaniels cares about is the patriots. He should of just shut the hell up as he deserved all the criticism. So glad he is gone.

@@homeandacre Von Miller was a good get, but seeing McDaniels yelling at the players on the sideline like a dad that that just heard his 16 yo got kicked out of school was beyond the pale. You could see the look on their faces that they were watching a grown-ass man have a melt-down. He lost buy-in with all that were there that day.

As an Eagles fan, I hated that he did that since it took Reich from the Eagles after SB win. Though with the changes that came after, the move to Hurts and hiring of Sirianni... I guess I can't be too mad anymore.

Imagine being hired somewhere, putting your ego over your team, and then bring down everyone, get fired, and then get to relax doing nothing in your mansion while your team pays for your mistakes and you get paid 21 million dollars a year for the next 4 years.
Played p5 college ball, never got past some tryouts for the pros. But we had a similar deal with my high school coach. He was a complete psycho though and after we aired our grievances to him, he proceeded to rip each and every one of us. Took almost an hour. Just kept cussing and hitting on every point he thought was wrong with us individually. Lo and behold, there was a female trainer in the training room just aghast at what she was hearing. Went and told her parents. Word got out. Coach was fired 2 days later. It was glorious.

As a Giants fan, that 07 team that won honestly just underachieved during the regular season at 10-6. We had such a beast of a team. Our front 4 was such a problem. Strahan, Osi, Tuck, Kiwi. Pierce of course. On offense we had Jacobs absolutely demolishing defenders.. sorry had to reminisce somewhere. Check on your friends that are Giants fans, we're not okay.

In a normal situation, he was probably just hoping to find out who his few allies were, bc asking your EMPLOYEES basically, to "judge your performance as a Boss" is an extremely BAD idea. I had a set of bosses, that had us do every single year, peer reviews, which are little more than a popularity contest. But I'm HAPPY to see Mcdumbass Go, he was alright in a near flawless system like in New England, but as a Head Coach hes a joke, I genuinely never had any faith whatsoever that he could handle it. In this case the employees, sorta got a get out of jail free card because their boss got fired after, but NEVER fall for the "well, im your Boss, and i care" speeches. Unless you are 100% protected, DON'T "air your grievances" w/your Boss...even if they ask/pretend to "want to know"
