Hi Velian I have important news with the new UI 6.1.1update, the equalizer modes section has been completely changed, and there are new modes to choose from. I think there is a noticeable improvement in the sound quality epically if you put it on bass boost mode
I agree! Sound quality is far more improved on this update. Still testing out the battery life though. Seems ok, I feel it's died down a bit quicker but I've been messing around with it more after the uodate. It is smoother as well. I'm still disappointed that we are not able to create gifs anymore under smart select as I think samsung did away with that feature on this update. 😕
this popped out of nowhere, my dad owned a samsung galaxy s9+ for 5 years with 0 issues until battery started declining (but it was charged every night and 4g was turned on half of every day) so he got s23+ 256gb now which will hopefully last even longer
I believe app booster is bullshit, and it can get your ram filled up too much because it kinda opens the apps on the background and freezes them in ram to have them ready for less loading times when u open an app , but this is what happens after u manually use your phone for a week u get to open all the apps and then u need a restart so the ram gets a little cleaned and there's less running in background and many freezed apps are deleted from the ram and that's good to happen every week because freezes apps can bug sometimes, but opening and freezing them when its not needed ( what app booster does) can make the bugs come faster. So i suggest just use your phone and if u get any issue restart it , if your battery is bad and u get slow downs u may have 1 bad app or just too many apps running and putting apps in deep sleep would help wich is literally the opposite of app booster. Now cache partition, I've done it 2 times and both times it looks like the battery calibration gets restarted and I get 6 hours screen on instead of 7-8 and it gets back to 8 hours after 2 weeks or so
This not what App Booster does and it does help. You can look up an article that was very in depth: - "Magic Trick" of Galaxy App Booster It made my phone significantly smoother, and navigating apps was way faster, especially Reddit.
Hello, Just FYI you do not need to plug the phone into the PC it does this without being plugged up. you can also get into the menu if you just hit restart and the volume up + the power key. just make sure you have the timing down. I work IT and when configuring our phones for our federal employees to set them up and lock the phones down we have to do this all the time.
My European device needs to be plugged in, but it doesn't have to be a computer. It can also be connected by cable to another device like my Tab S9 or even my old phone A13. (This is an S23 Ultra in Spain)
Love all these north Americans thinking that their phones are the standard. Reality is the rest of the world has dual Sim and multi esim phones which do require a connection to a pc or another phone to wipe a partition. Not sure why but it simply does. I have both Asian and Canadian Samsung models and they both work different
My device (S24 Ultra /Europe Sweden) is not entering into bootloader mode when I do the same. Tried both by connecting to Pc and also to normal charger unit (the latter used to work with Note 10+). Any suggestions? Also tried with Vol-down button, and, releasing power button after second vibration instead of Samsung logo appearing on screen. None of these different combinations did the trick! still no success!
@ElaineGarcia-uo8qj it's very easy to tell if it is or not these days. These UA-camrs help a lot. By then, most of them have tried and reviewed the changes in the update. And, come on! from one Ui 5 to 6 should tell you it's a huge system update. After installing the update, I use it for a while, and then I do a hard reset. I can tell you for a fact that my device improves more after a hard reset.
There should be a limit on how much these apps take up cache. Its ridiculous that the cache will build up to any size it wants taking up a shyt ton of space for no reason. They still havent fixed it yet. Facebook and tiktok are main offenders of this.
@Kranicated just checking lol - thanks for the reply. To be honest with the Dex features on the latest phones I haven't had a personal computer in like 5 years
