I know this comment is 4 years old and you have likely found an answer to your question in the last 4 years but maybe someone else with your same question will read this and it will help them. Cropping is only allowed in certain countries, the best example being the USA, and it is banned in the majority of Europe and I believe, in many if not all of these countries, cropped dogs of any breed cannot be shown unless it is at an international show. In countries where cropping is allowed, for danes, if a dog is cropped or uncropped it should not make a difference, the dog should be judged on its conformation but often times you will see favoritism towards dogs with cropped ears, regardless of the conformation of the dog but it is often worth noting that I have not seen very many decent uncropped danes being shown in the USA and often natural eared dogs there seem to be of inferior quality from what I have seen so this could explain an association between natural ears and bad confirmation in the USA.
Magnificent show animals!
I hear a Dane in the background. He must be heckling those on stage. LOL
those two black danes remind me of my one
i wishd id had some day two of this
when it comes to showing Great Danes or other certain breeds - do the judges look down on cropped versus not ?
Thats what I'm thinking or isnt health and wellbeing important to them
