എറണാകുളം ബ്രഹ്മസ്ഥാന വാർഷിക മഹോത്സവേത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് ഫാക്ട് പദ്മനാഭൻ ആശാനും സംഘവും അവതരിപ്പിച്ച നിഴൽക്കുത്ത് മേജർ സെറ്റ് കഥകളി.
പാണ്ഡവരുടെ നിഴലുകളിൽ കുത്തിക്കൊലപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന 'നിഴൽക്കുത്ത്' എന്ന മാന്ത്രിക ചടങ്ങ് നടത്താൻ ദുര്യോധനൻ മലയരയനെ നിർബന്ധിച്ചു. മാന്ത്രികൻ പാണ്ഡവരോട് ഭക്തിയുള്ളവനായിരുന്നു, ഇത് കേട്ട് അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം തകർന്നു. പക്ഷേ ദുര്യോധനനെ അനുസരിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ അവനു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. ദുര്യോധനൻ തന്റെ തലകൊയ്യുമെന്ന അവസ്ഥ വന്നപ്പോൾ ആ കർമ്മം ചെയ്യേണ്ടിവന്നു. ശേഷം മാന്ത്രികൻ ബോധരഹിതനായി. ദുര്യോധനൻ അവനെ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിച്ച് സമ്മാനങ്ങൾ നൽകി യാത്രയാക്കി.

The magical ritual 'Nizhalkuthu' (നിഴൽക്കുത്ത് എന്ന മാന്ത്രിക ചടങ്ങ്)
Duryodhana forced the magician Malayarayan to perform the magical ritual 'Nizhalkuthu' that would kill the Pandavas by stabbing their shadows. The magician was heartbroken and devoted to the Pandavas but could not disobey Duryodhana. To protect his life, he agreed to do that. After doing that cruel magical ritual, the magician fainted. Duryodhana revived him and sent him away with gifts.
