It is very nice program; well done ZAH. I think Dr Nadir is speaking on the behalf of millions fans of Waheed Ji. Its true if we minus WM from pak film industry - there is nothing worth watching apart from mediocre stuff. Waheed Ji was, is and will remain a craze, a charisma, an icon who is capable of enthralling audience till today; there is no doubt about it. If there is anyone worth calling hero in subcontinent- its none than other Waheed Ji. He stands tall, eminent and dazzling even four decade after his death.

Waheed Murad----- victim of circumstances, like many other people have incidents in life. 1962 to 1972------ was up time for Wahid Murad. Later on ,circumstances occurred and then downfall started. Whatever the details are----- unfortunate for Wahid Murad. It is sad situation. Unfortunately sad things happen in life. HE DIED SO YOUNG. GOD BLESS HIM.

I believe the term ‘Play Boy’ is inappropriate to describe #WaheedMurad’s roles in #Armaan and #HeeraAurPathar or any of his films. Play Boy roles were more of what #Shahid played. Waheed always played a passionate and ardent lover’s role. His roles depicted flamboyant young romantic as much as a loyal and sincere relationship exclusive for the one he was romantically involved with.

Thanks dr nadir for taking time out of our busy medical profession to speak about waheed murad.I am also die hard fan of him.Although I am about 10 years older than u and watched waheed movie when I was very 10 years old.I liked waheed because he never smoked in his movies and always was well groomed and well dressed and well fit unlike heroes of those who could not jump or dance to a song.I always said that Salman khan of 90s was essentially waheed of 60s.it seem waheed soul came in him.Enjoying ur visit dr nadir.I am in Dallas for 42 years and in america for 49 years and loved pakistani movies and songs of 60s and 70s.Salute to u Dr Nadir for sharing ur thoughts with ur fellow brethren.Jus wondering if u were in pakistan and was available to attend his funeral?
It is utmost surprising fact that legacy of Waheed Murad is increasing years by years after his death. I haven't seen that phenomenon with any other celebrity also I think Dr. Israr is gaining more popularity after his death. They are true legends.
I think 3 things caused downfall of Waheed Murad one 1 shifting from Karachi to Lahore. Lahore film atmosphere wasn't that good for a romantic hero. Second his dress and hair designers in Lahore were very bad and third was he I think he wasn't keeping himself young and fit by doing good workout
