The most ideal way to break in a glove is to use it as much as possible. Just play catch with it and practice with it as many times as you can right after you get it. Doing that allows for the most natural break-in and allows the glove to form to your hand extremely well.
However, if you wanted to give the break-in process a little kick-start, you could steam the glove. Steaming should soften the leather and make it a little more pliable.
