honestly since these arent too much shorter than the regular RH dolls, i'd love to see these body molds be brought into the main line. one of my fav things about ever after high was that all the wonderland characters were slightly shorter than the non-wonderland ones, just a tiny detail that adds a little diversity to the lineup. like omg imagine if margot was slightly shorter than the rest of the PC girls, or if brianna was shorter than the slumber party girls haha
Cute dolls. Very good quality. I will get them of course, but only when they go on sale. I hope to see more from this line. The size is the novelty. They don't look like a new sculpt at all. Just a reduced version of the first core characters. It's great these dolls don't have that iridescent sheen on their faces. That have a matte finish to their face. Love that! It would have been nice to have a stand, but there are financial reason's for that decision. All in all, they are great dolls. Super cute and very pretty! As usual a fun and very informative review. I think that they need to make a junior high and high school dolls of Colin. I mean part of Skyler's story with Colin is that they met and started dating in junior high. So to be able to play out their story with the dolls would be great.
I just got my first order of these. The eyes are a tiny bit smaller, and not the bug-eyed round ones that the series 1 RH have. They’re MUCH cuter than the RH standards. And, I’ve put the Zuru toys into their backpacks easily! I found that they fit perfectly into Blythe stands that I found on AliExpress. ‘Scuse me, gonna go play now.
These are cute, however I am not a fan of the eyes staying the same size but in a smaller face. Also, with inflation (in dolls and everything else), I am having to be much more choosy. For us in Canada, these will be at least $35, and we only get small sales after many weeks. The regular RH dolls are better value here right now.
Despite the name 'high school' in many fashion doll lines, I always thought Monster High, Rainbow High, and Bratz etc. looked more like early 20s girls than high schoolers. They're just too fashionable and curvy to read '15-18 years old' for me. So these jr. high girls look more reminiscent of high schoolers. Never really got why doll lines were so hooked on the highschool idea. All in all, very cute though.
It’s giving kids a LOT of play options and wish fulfillment with only one word which keeps it catchy. “High school “ implies that the dolls are a certain age, they do certain things for fun, they live a certain way etc. and also kids are mystified by High school
Since they are a younger version and are market towards kids, it would have been nice if the shirts and skirts was a little longer. Other than that, they are cute dolls.
Okay, so like, I was so totally against the entire Jr High line, but Violet looks so much cuter the way you're showing her off. You always have a way of showing off dolls that really captures the best of them.

Justice stores are gone, but they are at walmart now. So I guess that means they'd be more affordable now. The store I really miss though is Limited Too 😂

Justice bought out Limited Too or something around 2009 or 10 and while similar it felt like all the clothes started getting a bit more little girlish and less tween/early teen. I got my neopets from Mcdonald's happy meals 🤣.

I really like Skyler but I'm trying to like... be more low key with the doll army so I just got Violet. I kinda wanna rename her to Caitlin though. Do people do that? Or just keep their real names?
I think they are precious, but I still think the OMG Tweens just feel like a better deal. Like I bought the tweens full price without a question, but I probably won’t get these until they are on sale. The stands really kind of are make and break just cause these dolls are a dofferent height.
Even if they came with a second outfit I would keep mine in their first outfit. I have all my rainbow high dolls in their first outfits. Any of them that come with 2 outfits I display the boxes on a shelf
The reason why Skyler's eye looks a litttttttle different from Violet's is because Skyler doesn't have like an outline around her eye Violet has a darker blue outline and Skyler does not have any
