Had to see this Bob. I remember the records on the cereal box but only the flimsy disc which you peel off the box and then play that flimsy ass disc on the "record player". The only one I remember was Claudine Longet singing Love is Blue. I loved that song. A movie could be made about her life, esp. after the release of this song. Archies TV show and Sugar,Sugar (bought the record) were hits with me. Bobby Sherman was on a TV show "Here Come The Brides" and Julie Do you Love me were also hits with me. Anyway, your little shop of curiosities brought back some fond memories, LOL
I completely forgot about those. I remember getting some of those, or something similar, when I was a kid. Not sure when, but was probably late 70's. No idea what artists or songs we had, nor whatever happened to them. Probably got destroyed or Mom threw them out.
Oh man, my mom didn't let us go grocery shopping with her. Don't blame her there were six of us and she probably loved wandering the aisles alone while we were all at home - the three oldest taking care of the three youngest. I did love Bobby Sherman though and his dreamy eyes.... I couldn't remember Easy Come, Easy Go, only Julie, Do Ya Love Me. I googled Bobby Sherman and watched a tv performance of him singing it. Oh, the simple dance step throughout the whole song and the 4" fringe along the length of the sleeves on his shirt. Wow! I think I'm totally over my crush on Bobby Sherman. Thanks for that. Guess I should be at my age... lol
Hey Janette. I forgot about the Judy song. Yes, that was a big one. I'm thinking your mom was wise not to bring all of you there. Ha. I love these memories.
Hey, thanks for checking that out. Now you're REALLY bringing back memories. Ha. I've collected a number of these records but always looking for more. Josie and the Pussycats would be an amazing find. Not sure that was ever produced though. Too bad.
Ok I guess I'm definitely old cause I know who Bobby Sherman was and I had a very big crush on him. Wasn't he on a series called Here Come the Brides? Yes we had a few of those records. But I'm sure my mom got rid of them. She even threw away a Beatles lunchbox that I had. I told her " do you know how much money I could have gotten for that now days?" 😂

Hey Chris. My mom never really threw my things out...but most of my stuff ended up on a table at a garage sale (without my knowledge, of course). Ha.
Oh man, 🤦 i remember these. The spooky ones
I remember Mad magazine had some funny cardboard records included in their magazine in the early 1970s.

Great video👍. How the Partridge Family, the Osmonds or Josie and the Pussycats were not included on these breakfast cereals?...is beyond me🤔.

Hi Judy. Yes! I totally forgot about that show. I wonder if UA-cam has any old clips. I'll have to check that out!
