Great message, but on the other hand, being a homemaker is also equally a proud n powerful thing. My mom is a homemaker...n i am a doctor n i owe my entire success to her...the way she has nurtured me, motivated me, stood by me in my failures during selection n made so many sacrifices for me.. is the only reason behind what I am today. Respect to all powerful women
True. It is not east to raise children and work outside. This ad actually spreads the wrong message putting unnecessary pressure on women. Someone has to sacrifice when women work outside. My mother was a successful woman in work but that meant sacrificing the time she needed to spend on me. I still have problem socializing, making friends, and fitting in.
You are right, but the advertisement focused more on professionally ambitious women's take on pregnancy. It's all about empowering a women to choose what she wants, of being a homemaker was a choise she made despite having a working option, that's just splendid! Not everyone can pull off such sacrifices.

I am a homemaker and I am proud to be that..... Working at home is much more challenging than working in any field. And u am proud to be mother of two beautiful girls. When I see them and their positive growth I feel very proud of myself. When a child does something wrong people say " kya maa ne yahi sikhaya hai?". We should be respectful towards the choices that a woman makes and not celebrate all rounder! There should not be any pressure to be an all rounder. Loved the premise and emphasis that "women can do it all" but once again the corporate woman is vilified for choosing to not have children. The real "inclusion" is when females respect each others' choices. The woman herself has the final say because it's about her life and her body. It sure is *amazing* to juggle home and work but it shouldn't be glorified so much that the women who have made a choice are excluded. The slogan for this year's international women's day is #BreaktheBias and this advertisement is anything but unbiased. :( Update: 13 Days ago, I was literally the only person in the comment section rejecting this advert. Today, scrolling through here and my heart is SO FULL reading all the comments of men and women rejecting the idea of #shecancarryboth and destroying toxic gender norms!
I think it's not the "corporate women" you should focus on the attitude she is portraying which you can notice in a lot of "Modern Women" who see themselves as above all because they reached a point she wanted to in her mind so she thinks she has some kind of authority at least i have seen women like this if you have not
@@darkheart8811 I see your point. But my issue is not vilification of just the corporate woman. It’s the vilification of *any woman who makes a choice the society does not approve of*. And don’t tell me a man over a certain age whether or not he has reached a certain point, does not exude authority over younger people. It’s more about age and experience among other factors that make people like that. Men and women.
@THE ZOLDICS Fake Feminist how? You’re calling the corporate world fake feminists who have empowered women and made them financially independent! I can’t believe this twisted idea that corporate wouldn’t want women to get married and have children because it would hurt them. And even if is true, one always has the option to take up another job if the work environment is toxic. My emphasis is on “choice”. Also NO UTERUS, NO OPINION. Okay? 😂
@THE ZOLDICS that is a general sentiment among working women because they are looking at untapped talent. Also, whenever you find yourself making these observations, just ask yourself, would a working man look at an unemployed man and think highly of him?
She can carry both. But it shouldn't be a compulsion. Specifically in a country where 70+ year old PM also talks about the adverse effect of population. She can carry, does she want to carry. Society should accept both women who can, cannot or don't want to. ❤️
Exactly….finally I have gotten this sensible comment. It should not be necessary,Not a compulsion.Every individual has her own choice, there are lots of work besides motherhood.Someone should not go for it on the basis of society stereotype, otherwise she has to suffer later. There are so many things that can be easily told in a picture perfect frame, not easy to do.
@@yeager825 It is not about freedom. If you have seen movies like chup chup ke and good news. You may understand the physical and mental pain a women goes through just because she is having difficulty in conceiving. I would love to be a mom. But a healthy mom and not out of compulsion. I don't see a point of going through so much medical process for a child. And then the child has to sacrifice it's career because we are sick and need someone to take care. Each eats its own. I just wanted to say that society should respect a women who can't or don't want to conceive and not look down upon her as incomplete. Also you can put down your thoughts without using F word. Unless you don't have much thoughts and all you is F***
In my opinion, it varies between individuals. Not all women wish to be a mother. I mean society should not interfere in women's decision of having or not having a baby. It is her body, if she wish to be a mother she can be a mother.... And if she dont want to be a mother, she don't need to be a mother. Whatever she chose, she is perfect and complete in her own way

You guys are giving and getting the wrong message. Yes she does have a lot of responsibility she is in fact not supported by the system and the industries that are there. This is I call an advertisement, which will educate the society! Hats off to the maker and Prega News.... wonderful... and Thank You to all the MOTHERS.
Sugarcoating a few words of admiration and then laying the responsibility of looking after the house and children solely at the feet of women, you're actually pushing them into a tyrannic work ethics.
Great. Hats off to the all working women who manages office, house, children... But housewives do are great who does all and everything to the family. Widout being paid for same. Love and care the women has is the beauty and boon to the mankind
The ad is actually problematic in an attempt to be empowering. Being a mother is sure great, but it isn't for everyone. We should respect people's choices. A woman can choose if she wants to have a child or not. For some, it might be difficult to manage to be a parent and focus on their career or it might not be a priority to have a child. Yes, she can carry both but she doesn't necessarily have to. Doing both doesn't make anyone superior. Everyone succeeds in their own way based on their priorities. And also being a homemaker isn't an easy job. While it aims at breaking stereotypes, it reaffirms the stereotype that being a person who manages the home is not "actual work" to be considered as another job.
So sacrificing a life which is thriving in you is a choice? Killing or should I say a murder is choice? If you are this much comfortable in abandoning womb why dont abandon sexual needs? Or at least afford a contraceptive before you get into a situation to afford a murder! This wont cost 'working women' much no?
@@hritwikkhare6319 don't bring western mind numbing bullsh*t here. Think properly. Put yourself in the shoes of the women you are trying to demonise here. Women or both parents aren't always ready whether it's emotionally, mentally or financially. Some women are physically weak, unable to carry the child, if they did they could die, would you take the responsibility for ending an adult already living person's life, to whom many people are attached in her life, with a fully functioning consciousness?? Or simply do you want to take away the freedom of someone on their own body?? Is this not a human right violations?? Using a human body for your own selfish belief without their consent?? It is actually similar to any assault or even r*pe. Do you agree that you want to take part in this? Sometimes women are stuck with abusive partner/husbands and some of those partners are so disgusting that they won't mind sexually or physically assaulting their own child. What if the women didn't want this to happen? Some women or both parents are mentally unstable themselves that they might leave their own children with an abusive traumatic childhood and scar them for the rest of their lives and some of those children will grow up and carry on that abuse on their own future children. There many many possibilities that the women is seeking for an abortion, do you want the child to grow up in poverty or physically/sexually assaulted by their own parents or want them to grow an abusive and toxic environment because some dumb people made dumb laws against abortion and didn't let the mother to abort her child and save him from an abusive past. The so called children you are trying to protect, you don't even ask them whether they ever agreed to live in such worst conditions because your dumb mind assumed everything on your own, and in the end, the said child ended his/her own life because of all the bullshit they went through, what about this possibility huh?? Mind your own business and let people decide what they want, they have a well developed mind of their own, you are not more intelligent than them, or let the fate decide what will happen. Just don't interfere where you are absolutely not needed. And while you are going on with this statement, go and adopt those children which are dying in poorer nations or anywhere in the worst environment, they are already been born, that will actually help than your fake sense of humanity.
@@hritwikkhare6319 How is killing a fully formed human being with the capability to function the same as aborting a cell mass that hasn't yet formed? Also, sexual needs is for some an actual need. It might impair their emotional and social well-being in the absence of sex (not for all people especially asexuals). As for contraception, why is the burden of contraception on women? It should be a shared responsibility considering a child isn't formed out of one person's cell. Carrying a child and raising them takes a huge toll on the carrier/parent so I don't think one can judge a person based on their choice because they don't have to deal with carrying that child and raising them. Also, abortion can be due to rape, medical emergency, and failed use of contraception. Everyone should have the right to decide what happens to their body.
Surely raising a child is duty of both people but when the nature gives more responsibility to women, then what to do. It is the women who give birth and so responsibility of raising a child is instinctive

Inspiring????oh plz why is this ad woman against woman.....yes we all know woman can do it all but does she have to???let woman live for heaven's sake..this ad shows how a woman is questioning ,also demeaning the other for their choice of happiness..yes motherhood is a beautiful feeling n it comes with a lot of responsibility.....if one wants to embrace motherhood we r here to cheer for her.....if she doesn't want to we r still here to cheer for her ....if someone is happy with their kid with no career it's amazing but if someone does want to stay without one n build her career or do anything else it's still amazing n same goes for woman doing both career n motherhood....the bottom line is the amazing part is woman r their own decision makers on what makes them happy. So showing woman shaming other woman not good

This add just shows one woman ( career oriented and child free in modern attire) in negative light with vilianised dialogues , which adds on the existing stereotypes that single or child free women are arrogant or rude, someone who doesn't love her family, while showing that a woman in saree as the ideal bahu a policewoman as well a loving mother. And moreover gives the message that a child can't change your life , so good women just bear kids however your conditions are. But in reality , bringing a child into this world is very difficult, and a person who is not ready emotionally, physically or financially shouldn't become pregnant.

@@rachel-wh1uz true and men along with this ad are guilt tripping women to bear child. They don't understand a single thing and are blabbering nonsense.
Independent women without a child are equally humble and down to earth. Conversely, non independent women with child can also be rude. Depicting that if a women does not get married or does not have a child, then she is not a good human being is so wrong and a bit insulting towards hardworking independent women.
Yes, any mother who takes care of her career as well as a baby is great parent and needs to be applauded. But what is it with the mentality that if a model or any career oriented woman doesn't want to give birth a baby, she is a villain/ not needs to be appreciated? Why do we as a society have to convince or force woman to have a baby? What if SHE doesn't want? Isn't it's about her life and her choices too? Because at the end her body will manifest changes that comes with pregnancy, postpartum depression isn't that easy to deal with, you look certain way after giving birth and some woman don't like it. How about that we leave it to any indipendent woman who likes to take their own decisions about their own lives?
Yes. It should be left to woman whether she wants to carry a baby or not. And that is the exact message shown in this ad. The ad includes both the situations. The woman who chose career and the women who chose both career and children. The model girl decided after listening and observing both the parties. She wasn't pressurised, she was inspired. The message behind the ad is only to support and empower women that if she wants #SheCanCarryBoth. This ad in no way villain-ised the women who chose career only. This is just to tell that a baby won't hamper your career growth (if you want it). Also, I have also seen career oriented women looking down upon housewives or the women who chose to prioritise family. Which I think should also not be done.
@@FreeDom-gz2yj finally Someone who understood this add. *WHOEVER IS READING THIS COMMENT,* *THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO ME* YEs you all are right but you aren't be able to see from the point of view of the police officer here which you were doing for the other two women there. And i am not arguing or hating you all but requesting to also see the same view for the other woman here, it will be better to understand this advertisement. As like itself in the advertisement said It's depends on people's view(najaria) And people here are only being one sided But from all sides there are stereotype and shame from society and people. Here is shown the same thing. In the past people used to shame woman because they wanna work and people used to say, "you are a woman you can't work outside, you suppose to see only kids and your husband, only the husband should work outside" and now as we are encouraging woman at office and as working outside than only home. There are people who insult woman who are only housewife and unfortunately those are mostly woman nowadays who judge a woman, people don't really see or realise that now housewifes are also getting shame because people's mentality. if in past people realised woman can work at office why they don't realise They can also work at home as her choice....they are behaving like woman never have been work at a house before, She is capable of any kind of field wherever and however she wants to work. The main point is that people's mentality in the past but also today/ present it-self is same. People will judge and have stereotypes only thing that is changed... is the working place(some people works for home and some in outside). Same thing showing here. *People here thinking that working woman is portrayed bad and the rebel here because she works without not having, kids and Mainly Because She Is Questioning The Woman With Kid* but in Actually not she is just portrayed a normal person who have some made up statement or "stereotype statment for a peculiar or an certain thing and she have questions about it..she is just asking the questions Questioning it's not bad It's actually smart and really a good thing that she talked and asked/question about her thoughts to that woman with baby, "like working outside is better then being a housewife and etc etc" If she would not be a Bad character or a evil person she would be someone Who will say "i know what's wrong and right, don't teach me your morals cause what I am saying is right which is to work outside, you housewife don't know about anything, being housewife is shame you should be shame for yourself because you have no identify, individuality" but she is a smart character here. She acknowledge and add more knowledge to her mindset. and this thing is really happening these days and the bitter truth is that nowadays woman are the one who judge woman itself. Everyone should appreciate a woman and her work and her duties and her contribution in this world either she works at office or home but the question is that woman itself judge its other and how would you accept everyone to acknowledge a woman and respect her. Like she said..."you are a housewife how will you understand working the office, you have to face real hard work, you don't work at office or is or you are educated we should work" but she realised that her mindset is wrong when she got to know that that housewife she was judging also work outside. And there is this another young girl who was trying to be model and want to take down her kid because of her wrong mentality she thinks if you wanna work outside like an model etc etc you can't have a kid...it will work as a barrier, either if you wanna have a kid you can't work outside or you have to take down that baby to make your dream come true Society have create like this barrier that If you have a family, kids you can't work outside as a woman or working woman can't build a home, she isn't making her decision by her own choice she is making the decision in insecurity and fear as she things as barrier, she have this wrong mentality to make a decision created by our society. Isn't this stereotype is still going today That woman are made for working in one field in her life, they are only capable or can take one responsibility only, they won't be managed doing both Either they gonna be housewife or working woman that's it Bruh no This is the mentality is being showing by her (If a woman want She can have a kid and build a home with the same time working at a office All you need a choice which have a good mentality and determination) Don't judge woman by what she does in daily life A woman is capable for anything Like that working woman and young girl's stereotype realised... Specially the working woman there, she thought the woman with kid is a "mother probably a housewife so probably not independent also she is only a housewife or a mother because of her motherly dialogues and so she probably won't work outside because working woman wouldn't say something motherly or morally...which she refer as being "practical" as a working woman,a working woman would have said "No it's really hard and it's a barrier." As her mindset. So, woman should not judge its other. Even woman won't acknowledge a woman and her work, how would other people will respect a woman If we won't respect a housewife and insult her for her work, how will we improve our society That woman are working in her choices and everyone will respect only one category of women by there work, they won't learn just to respect a woman in General/as an individual/as a human . We should realise That a woman is capable of everything She is holding the child doesn't meant she isn't independent, Respect every work done by woman, respect their work either them being a housewife or a working woman. All their hard work matters. *Cut out the stereotypes for woman* *She wanna work outside let her* *Wanna work for herself, her home Let her..* *Want to have kids or havING kids don't judge that she isn't independent enough or have no self respect/identity so don't work at office* *Want not to have kids* *Let her do it* *Stop judging a woman By her choice* And yes if people see someone making a decision rather then a personal choice but with a opon wrong mentality Encourage them, support them Like that young model girl Who is trying to make a decision with a wrong mentality and being scared so making that decision rather then her because of her personal choices. She gave that young girl motivation and inspiration, encouragement That if she want she can be both, don't be affaid, think over your dicision before having fear. She over come her ear and this time making her decision with free mind By the end of day she made her decision by her choice and to keep that kid and still can make her dream come true by her own choice. There are lots of campaign in America for awareness like these To encourage woman over Their fear, and stereotype they face by society. And also there is a big example in Hindu culture if someone belongs to it Goddess Durga maa She shows her 10 hands which carries different aspects This is an example of capability And women's power If the woman wants.. she can Do anything don't make opinion that she is useless and have only one work given by Nature. Woman can work same like how other works. Never insult a woman that she is weak or numb If she wants ,if she have determination. She can do anything as she wants

It's really shocking to see such ads...it is upto every woman to decide whether to be a mother or not...it's her body, it's her choice...being judgemental and imposing the idea of "a child would make one's life complete' won't help here....people should step away from such regressive thoughts ..😑
The question "what is there to manage" makes it clear. There is a lot to manage. For people with privilege of money, parents, etc can take care of their children when parents are on duty. I'm brought up by a mother who started her day at 3:30 and slept at 12:30 and had to travel 280kms a day which was my parents' choice which I never consider inspiring but an act done out of financial necessity which I won't be choosing. I have faced many issues in adolescence due to lack of parental care and support. And the question what is there to manage is coming out of utter ignorance and the proud walk of the SSP is because of social, financial privileges. To people trying to distinguish fake feminist and true feminists, don't you think in the case of men, even most men won't let their daughter/wife/girlfriend stay or interact with another men because even men consider other men potential threat and thus try to say potentially rapist men and not all men. The struggle of motherhood/womenhood in a father/man headed society for many is real. Acknowledge it if you can't understand or experience it. Respecting genders is the issue. Fake or true is not the issue- and it is not fake that you see in the formals wearing women but radical feminism.
Absolutely right. Yes, a woman can carry both responsibilities, but at what cost? And if a woman doesn't want both responsibilities, then is she wrong? No. It should be completely depend on the choice of a woman, what life she wants to live. However, makeing choices for herself is a privilege.

Yes woman can carry both, child and career. But would it not be much more appropriate to say that woman may or may not carry both. It is okay to carry a baby and it is also okay to not carry a baby, irrespective of your career status. Ultimately it is my life, my body and my choice, right? And raising a baby isn't only a mother's job, no? And all those people cheering about true feminism, I request them to check facts and figures first. A World Bank study done in collaboration with the National Sample Survey Organisation states that 20 million Indian women quit their jobs between 2004-12, of which 65-70% never returned to work. And in majority of the cases, the reason behind this is child birth. It is not only about the woman's capacities and capabilities, it is a web of many issues including the responsibility of the father, family's support, support from workplace, infrastructure of the workplace. Yes, it is about perspectives. True that is but perspectives and choices can be different and all of them should be respected equally. If my choice of being a mother is respected, my choice of not being a mother should also be respected.
Instead of advertising that woman can handle everything even after having a child and a women not interested in having children is of some kind of villain, you could have advertised saying having a child and a being mother is each woman's choice

There is no way to increase female voices in Denison making power and let women have control over there life until they are financially independent and career driven. But this patriarchal ad is spreading hate and stereotyping women who want to escape patriarchal manipulation

"Asaan nhi tha iss nanhi si badmaash ke "Saath-Saath", iss poore district ke law and order ko maintain rakhna." which clearly means That It Is Difficult, But Not Impossible 🙏. I completely agree with the fact that it becomes very very very difficult to handle both but No-one,i repeat no one can be the Biggest multitasker/warrior than a Mother, yet When it comes to responsibility -----She can Handle both beautifully.
No one is defaming childless women here, and No one should consider a Housewife specially homemaker Mothers, a loser. Stop creating any kind of stereotype. Women can handle both. 🙏

The video is amazing but some people in the comments are still missing the point.
It's true that she can carry both, but it's not mandatory for her to carry both.
At the end of the day it's just her CHOICE!
Eg : There are successful men like Ronaldo, Bill gates etc who got married and made children but there are also other successful men like Abdul kalam, Narendra Modi etc who chose not to get married but do not get shamed for not doing 'manly duties'. This is the exact freedom women want too!

No women has right to demean other women who wants baby as well ! Have seen many ! It goes both ways
I agree with you.

And moreover gives the message that a child can't change your life , so good women just bear kids however your conditions are.
But in reality , bringing a child into this world is very difficult, and a person who is not ready emotionally, physically or financially shouldn't become pregnant.

Well said.....
Louder for people in the back
Yes I see my mom destroying her health in order to take care of us and her job😣

YEs you all are right but you aren't be able to see from the point of view of the police officer here which you were doing for the other two women there.
And i am not arguing or hating you all but requesting to also see the same view for the other woman here, it will be better to understand this advertisement.
As like itself in the advertisement said
It's depends on people's view(najaria)
And people here are only being one sided But from all sides there are stereotype and shame from society and people. Here is shown the same thing. In the past people used to shame woman because they wanna work and people used to say, "you are a woman you can't work outside, you suppose to see only kids and your husband, only the husband should work outside" and now as we are encouraging woman at office and as working outside than only home.
There are people who insult woman who are only housewife and unfortunately those are mostly woman nowadays who judge a woman, people don't really see or realise that now housewifes are also getting shame because people's mentality.
if in past people realised woman can work at office why they don't realise
They can also work at home as her choice....they are behaving like woman never have been work at a house before,
She is capable of any kind of field wherever and however she wants to work. The main point is that people's mentality in the past but also today/ present it-self is same. People will judge and have stereotypes only thing that is changed...
is the working place(some people works for home and some in outside).
Same thing showing here.
*People here thinking that working woman is portrayed bad and the rebel here because she works without not having, kids and Mainly Because She Is Questioning The Woman With Kid*
but in Actually not she is just portrayed a normal person who have some made up statement or "stereotype statment for a peculiar or an certain thing and she have questions about it..she is just asking the questions
Questioning it's not bad
It's actually smart and really a good thing that she talked and asked/question about her thoughts to that woman with baby, "like working outside is better then being a housewife and etc etc"
If she would not be a Bad character or a evil person she would be someone
Who will say "i know what's wrong and right, don't teach me your morals cause what I am saying is right which is to work outside, you housewife don't know about anything, being housewife is shame you should be shame for yourself because you have no identify, individuality" but she is a smart character here.
And there is this another young girl who was trying to be model and want to take down her kid because of her wrong mentality she thinks if you wanna work outside like an model etc etc you can't have a kid...it will work as a barrier, either if you wanna have a kid you can't work outside or you have to take down that baby to make your dream come true
Society have create like this barrier that
If you have a family, kids you can't work outside as a woman or working woman can't build a home, she isn't making her decision by her own choice she is making the decision in insecurity and fear as she things as barrier, she have this wrong mentality to make a decision created by our society.
Isn't this stereotype is still going today
That woman are made for working in one field in her life, they are only capable or can take one responsibility only, they won't be managed doing both
Either they gonna be housewife or working woman that's it
Bruh no
This is the mentality is being showing by her (If a woman want
She can have a kid and build a home with the same time working at a office
All you need a choice which have a good mentality and determination)
Don't judge woman by what she does in daily life
A woman is capable for anything
Like that working woman and young girl's stereotype realised...
Even woman won't acknowledge a woman and her work, how would other people will respect a woman
If we won't respect a housewife and insult her for her work, how will we improve our society
That woman are working in her choices and everyone will respect only one category of women by there work, they won't learn just to respect a woman in General/as an individual/as a human .
We should realise
That a woman is capable of everything
She is holding the child doesn't meant she isn't independent,
Respect every work done by woman, respect their work either them being a housewife or a working woman.
All their hard work matters.
*Cut out the stereotypes for woman*
*She wanna work outside let her*
*Wanna work for herself,her home
Let her..*
*Want to have kids or havING kids don't judge that she isn't independent enough or have no self respect/identity so don't work at office*
*Want not to have kids*
*Let her do it*
*Stop judging a woman By her choice*
And yes if people see someone making a decision rather then a personal choice but with a opon wrong mentality
Encourage them,support them
Like that young model girl
Who is trying to make a decision with a wrong mentality and being scared so making that decision rather then her because of her personal choices. She gave that young girl motivation and inspiration, encouragement
That if she want she can be both, don't be affaid, think over your dicision before having fear.
She over come her ear and this time making her decision with free mind
By the end of day she made her decision by her choice and to keep that kid and still can make her dream come true
by her own choice.
There are lots of campaign in America for awareness like these
To encourage woman over Their fear, and stereotype they face by society.
And also there is a big example in Hindu culture if someone belongs to it
Goddess Durga maa
She shows her 10 hands which carries different aspects
This is an example of capability And women's power
If the woman wants.. she can
Do anything don't make opinion that she is useless and have only one work given by Nature. Woman can work same like how other works. Never insult a woman that she is weak or numb
If she wants ,if she have determination.
She can do anything as she wants
@@FreeDom-gz2yj the model was very beautifully guilt tripped she was shown if she decides to live child free she'll end up like laptop lady mean and bitchy..... because according to the ad only a good saree clad lady who is a mom and omg empowerment also a ssp can be humble and nice.

Stamping equality as fake feminism will get your work done. Pushing your agenda to make women take responsibility for everything will make men's life continue to be carefree.
Don't know how and why are you guys not able to see (maybe mentally blind) but in a normal house where both the partners are working (in office, for being more specific for you guys) are carrying either equal responsibilities. A man is also working in house and help in house hold works & woman is also working/helping financially. I have seen such things and carrying forward for my new generation but maybe you have not seen this so..!
Coming about fake feminism,
Being naked on the basis of fashion or sleeping with anyone on the name of freedom is not feminism. Being Feminist is a great responsibility.
Watched it and started looking for like button, A friend of mine recommended this hats off guys such fine and thoughtful way to tell an individual about individuality.👍👍
