So glad that you were able to do a new update; much appreciated, the part that blows my mind is that they're now starting to build the overhead merge lane for the 58 Westbound. It's really starting to look like they might actually finish the Centennial Corridor project within the next two or three years. I just hope that you can make your next video a little sooner; but I realize that you have to work with the FAA as a drone pilot.
Thanks for your comment Anthony, and for watching. The challenge to getting out there is just having a list of other life priorities that consume most of my time. It takes me a good amount of time to complete a video, so i'm working on trying to free up some more of my time so I can do more of these videos, more often. Thanks for understanding. I'll be sure to get at least one per month of the Centennial Corridor Project, especially now that it has really taken shape.
Great video, thank you!! Any chance you have enough battery to fly the whole path from the 5 to the 99? I'm still a bit confused on what the eventual plans will be to tie the west side parkway in to the 5, or if they even plan that at all.
Hey Robert....thanks for watching, and for the feedback. I would love to do that full stretch. The challenge of that is the FAA requires the drone to be within "eye's view", so it would take probably 10+ location changes to capture that full route. I filmed this last corridor video from 4 different locations. The battery life is approximately 15 minutes of video time, so it would likely take 4-6 outings to complete that full route. I would like to see it as well, so i'll see what I can do about planning that out to get it into my calendar. Once I can do this "full time", it would be no problem to complete it all within a couple days. Please be sure to follow The Heightened Perspective channel, and maybe that will be coming up at some point in the near future. Thanks again for your feedback and for the support.
Love these updates and I am following the project closely. Can you provide a Venmo link to contribution or Zelle? Also would like to hear about time frames for completion of the segments and overall project. Thanks.
Hey Stan....Thank you for following, and for the feedback. I'll do some research and find out more details on anticipated completion dates, and will mention in the next video. I'm committing to at least 1 update video per month, maybe more if I can free up from other obligations. Yes, I do have venmo and zelle. My venmo is: @TreasuresOfBako Thank you very much for your support.
omg, this project has gone a long way, there are even highway 58 ramps on Mohawk, coffee, calloway, Allen, and even the stockdale highway
I’m so excited waiting for this project to be completed, I’ll be driving down all these new loops and turns. 😸
That's awesome.....thanks for watching and for the feedback. Which route are you looking forward to taking?

Cant wait for this to be done
I agree 👍
Thank you for doing this. It's hard to see the progress from ground level. Hope you do more vary soon
Thanks for watching, and for the feedback. I'm going to do a minimum of 1 update per month....more if I can get out there more. Thanks again.
It's looking more like LA snd the bay area.
I think eventually it will be quite a metropolis.
Thanks for watching, and for the feedback.
How tough was it getting LAANC approval?
It's super simple....use the AirMap web app....you can get automated approvals out of Meadows Field.

High rise overpasses in earthquake country. What could possibly go wrong, even if they are built to the latest rigorous engineering standards?
Nothing. California has strict buildings codes.
