Love Snoop Dogg. Always been one of my favorite rappers. I was 19 or 20 when this came out. Rap was fun and cool back then. Not like the mumble crap of today. Ugh
Man I miss the 90's. I was 9 years old when this song came out. I loved it then, and still love it now. This should have WAY more views. 51M is nowhere near enough. Rap from the 90's was so good. Everything from the 90's was so good.
Snoop is a True living legend... For those 80's babies...they truly had a taste of Real Hip Hop n enjoying partying in the 90's... The era of clubbing,house parties n good music
@Yoatemybeans I have never listened to Mozart A-day in my life I am a motown R and B-girl Along with some hip hop in some rap that is a very bias thing You said
My grandpa thought that rap music was devils music. I’m so happy that after grandpa smashed multiple cassettes my dad continued to buy the same cassettes over and over in order to get this music. It will never grow old listening to my dads favorites. Not after 30 years, and not after 100 years
I been listening to Snoop since the early 80's. He is the man. My Mom loved him until she passed away at 80 years old. Always listening to him just like her kids. I am 55 now. He still jams out. His songs bring great memories of growing up with my family. Thank you GOAT. You are still doing your thing.😊♥️
Best damn era in hip hop as far as my old ass is concerned. I remember when this album came out, 1993, just got out of work at a video game arcade (yup that was the best era too), was standing outside in line at midnight, cold as all fk out, I was in college at University of Michigan and the Tower Records was on the corner of South University and Church St. at the time, before it moved down a few spots....must have been hundreds of us in line. The line extended up the stairs, walked right up to the inside area where there were fking CASES of CDs and cassettes, even records because DJs still used records then mostly. Got my Snoop Dogg CD, went back across the street to where I lived at the time, University Towers, blasted the shit out of that CD with my roommate Pete while we played Super NES Street Fighter until 6am, and the crazy shit is, if you went out in the hallways you could hear multiple others who has just bought that same Doggy style CD and blastin the shits out of it. The next day I only had one real class I needed to go to, think it was a wednesday, I was at the music school in North Campus. Here I am in the music school, and everyone else is practicing like maniacs in the dungeon (thats what we called the basement area practice rooms) and I'm walking around with my Panasonic CD walkman still playing Doggy style....Shit man....now I'm turning into an old man, and I still haven't done any of the shit I dreamed about doing back then...... All kinds of memories come up when you hear music, even something like Doggy style album.... music is the one thing that everyone can relate to in a time in their lives, that, and for some reason, I can smell a certain perfume or something similar and a memory will pop up from 40 years ago...... shit man..
i think music is always at its best when its fresh and new.... name a genre where its different... its just wide open with much room for exploration and experimentation... eventually it goes on too long and mutates to the point it goes rather dissapointing or even kinda dies out.
i love the comment and absolutely feel ya ... i bet you can listen to the album and have pictures of super nes games flash by ... its nostalgia on another level... music always accompanied me while playing video games/PC! So, so much of it brings me back into all kinda video game worlds... the arcades, aw man... just epic times the late 90s were... i really do miss it all. Lucky you, havin been able to work there...! "I can smell a certain perfume or something similar and a memory will pop up from 40 years ago......" trust me, i even feel you on that one too... one thing that I came to notice just a while back is, I've kinda had DeJaVu a couple of times, but not the typical visual Dejavu, rather an audio-type Dejavu ... not even talking music, that would be too simple... just certain sequences of sounds ... can't even explain it or put it to words, Life can be so strange LOL
Snoop's always got such great lyrics and flow, and they're both exemplified in this song. Unfortunately, the censorship really messes with them in this version.
So glad Snoop is still with us to this day he truly made it, we need a movie of his life at some point.
Ong
I think he has a movie about himself I think it's called coolaid or something like that
Snoop not so intresting like a pesonality, but song's really exiting. I would like to watch good movie about Dre and his work with snoop.
@Fizzy Am bro if only there was a movie about dre and snoop
True. But to be honest, anyone’s life can be made into a movie. Not limited to celebs.
Still hits after 29 years.
"Still hits after 29 years." You rarely even hear this song playing only some old timers play this in they're house at volume 20

Yes SIR!🫡
My fave song. Beyond old !
Love😂
Always been one of my go to tunes no matter my mood
I like how he's promoting bicycling as a mode of urban transportation, we need more of that.
And using condoms!
Also the legalization of marijuana, he seems very liberal
@nyanray LMAOOOO
He's not pedaling, so he must have called a bike Uber.
snoop is a really cool dude. love the vibe he gives, super chiil
I've always loved this song!❤️ It made me want to try Gin & Juice.😄

Snoop Dogg is like that one guy you will love to have as a best friend, he's the definition of cool.
Except his voice
@Yoatemybeans at least it's better than hearing Kevin Hart 24/7 without any breaks.
@Saint Akins yeah lol
2pac would disagree but sure
Was born in the late 90s but I grew up in a household with all the great classics.
