This is my story of how Jesus Christ saved me from a life of alcoholism, an eating disorder and many unhealthy behaviors. I am so Thankful to God for his redeeming love and for transforming me in to a brand new person I owe everything I am to him and the gospel: We are all sinners in need of a Savior we cannot make ourselves good enough or righteous enough to be in the presence of God our creator , So God became flesh in the form of Jesus Christ. He lived on this earth with every temptation known to man but did not sin, so that he could be a spotless blameless sacrifice for our sins. He was hung on a cross and 3 days later rose from the dead, proving he is the son of God and offering the gift of salvation to all who believe in Jesus Christ.
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3: 23-26
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
